MAC Cosmetics “Blankety” Lipstick is one of MAC’s bestselling lipsticks, and for good reason: it is the perfect pink-nude. Since this shade is quite popular, and has been around, some of you may already be familiar with this lipstick. The MAC Cosmetics Wonder Woman Collection is a limited edition collection, styled after the infamous comic book heroine “Wonder Woman.” Overall, I found this entire collection to be very underwhelming, considering how much potential it could have had. Some of the products are found in the permanent line, and some of them were just poor quality. I ordered Mighty Aphrodite because it is a gorgeous peachy-pink blush duo, and the size of this blush is gigantic (wait until you see it next to a regular MAC blush inside!). MAC Cosmetics Peacocky Collection is designed after the bold, beautiful colors of the exotic peacock. The Peacocky Collection contains twelve Kissable Lipcolour’s, designed to apply with a smooth finish like a lip gloss, but have opaque, rich color like a lipstick. Each lip colour comes packaged in a slimline vial, with a doe foot applicator. The color payoff is intense with these lip colours, applying like your average lip gloss, and then knocking your socks off with intense, opaque color like a lipstick. I loved so many of the Lipcolour’s in this collection, but I chose to choose only my favorites…the ones I would wear the most. MAC Cosmetics Peacocky Collection is designed after the bold, beautiful colors of the exotic peacock. The Peacocky Collection contains fifteen Mega Metal Shadow’s, designed to have a color-rich, opaque, metal finish. Another thing about these eyeshadows, is that they are extremely soft to the touch, and on your skin. They are so soft and smooth, they almost feel like pure velvet on your eyelids. Dalliance is the favorite pick out of the fifteen eyeshadows, with its light champagne color, and high intensity metallic finish. All fifteen shades are brilliantly gorgeous, but I decided to go with Dalliance alone, since you can never go wrong with a gleaming, neutral shade. Love her or hate her, Nicki Minaj has been tearing through the music, fashion, and beauty scene lately. Known for her fearless, confident, cartoon-like looks, her newest venture, a collaboration with MAC Cosmetics, is a lipstick named after her first album, “Pink Friday.” This lipstick was limited edition, and sold for 4 Friday’s in a row from Thanksgiving through Christmas. Apparently, Nicki Minaj has some die-hard fans, because this lipstick was gone within minutes each Friday at midnight. If you find yourself wanting to get your hands on this lipstick however, there is some great news for you…MAC is bringing it back because it sold so well. The MAC Cosmetics Venomous Villains Collection is limited edition, and highly anticipated since all of the products are Disney themed! There are four sets that each contain themed products inside the collection, “Cruella,” “Maleficent,” “Evil Queen,” and “Dr. Facilier.” I personally picked up three lipglasses from this collection, “Strange Potion,” “Wicked Ways,” and “Revenge is Sweet.” They were the shades I thought were the most gorgeous, and also some of the most coveted from the collection. Keep in mind that much of this collection sold out almost immediately online, and even I almost got mowed down at the MAC counter on release morning.
