The brand new Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette is of a similar variation to the recent Summer of Love palette I showed from last summer, which was on sale at HauteLook recently. The packaging is a disco, rollerskating theme, and it’s absolutely adorable. Urban Decay usually puts a deluxe sample of their primer potion with their palettes, but instead this one comes with a hot pink Lip Junkie lipgloss. Just like last summer’s “Summer of Love” palette, this one comes with three neutral eyeshadows, and one bright pop of color. I’ve been hesitant to post nail polishes swatches lately because of how often I’ve been beating up my fingernails and hands with gardening and yard work. After all, if my nails don’t look clean and in good shape, how are you going to want to take my beauty advice? The perfectionist in me is what tells me all of the above, but then I realize I have beauty imperfections just like everyone else. I slack on my beauty needs at times – I let my eyebrows get a little too thick, and I let my cuticles get dry and ragged. But you know what? I’m going forward with this post, because my nails are a reflection of my now lushly green and colorful yard full of perennial flowers and new fruit trees. Orly Nail Lacquer Precious Collection is brand new for Spring 2011, and it consists of six gorgeous shades. The standout shade for me is Gilded Coral, shown above. I don’t quite have anything like it in my collection, and it’s gorgeous enough to be worn for a wedding, prom, or any big events, and still look sophisticated enough for the office. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Ivy Shimmer Ink is a gorgeous, shimmering emerald green gel eyeliner. Bobbi Brown was having a 20% off Friends & Family sale last week, and this has been on my wish-list for some time, so I scooped it up while I could. I personally adore gel eyeliners, with my favorite being MAC’s “Blacktrack” gel eyeliner. Sometimes, though, you want to add a little color without being overly dramatic or wild…Ivy Shimmer Ink is perfect for this! It’s a dark emerald green, but it has small flecks of teal shimmer in it that light up when they hit certain angles. It’s an absolutely stunning gel eyeliner, and the perfect alternative to black. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick is one of my favorite drugstore lipsticks. Their product line comes in a massive amount of shades and finishes, from matte to pearl and beyond, so there is something for every single skin tone. One of my favorite, and most used colors is Wink For Pink, a pearl candy pink with a slight sheen to it. This lipstick is super moisturizing and never flaky on your lips, and best of all, it’s not sticky, and has no synthetic fragrance. What more can you ask for in a $5 drugstore lipstick? I was originally drawn to MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Cream because of Britney Spears “Hold It Against Me” music video, where she features the product (and this exact shade) in it. Up until then, I assumed that because it was a cream eyeshadow that it would be a creased disaster, like so many other cream eyeshadow products I’ve tried. I recently found this eye makeup look in a folder on my computer that I did around the same time I was swatching the OPI Femme de Cirque Collection. I didn’t put two and two together then, but I realized it was definitely inspired by the nail polish collection, which has gorgeous baby pinks and sheer pale beige-pinks in it. Dior Dior Addict Lipstick is a brand new hydrating lip color that is now part of Dior’s beauty line. Dior has had Dior Addict lip gloss out for some time now, which is essentially the same product, but with a different formula. For those of you beauties who enjoy lipstick more than lip gloss, you will be pleasantly happy with the quality of the Dior Addict lipsticks. 561 – Baby Rose is the most gorgeous, universally flattering baby pink color.
