Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook: Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette Photographs & Swatches

The brand new Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette is of a similar variation to the recent Summer of Love palette I showed from last summer, which was on sale at HauteLook recently. The packaging is a disco, rollerskating theme, and it’s absolutely adorable. Urban Decay usually puts a deluxe sample of their primer potion with their palettes, but instead this one comes with a hot pink Lip Junkie lipgloss. Just like last summer’s “Summer of Love” palette, this one comes with three neutral eyeshadows, and one bright pop of color. The difference is that the Rollergirl palette has no glitters in it, which is a good thing in my own opinion. To see photographs, swatches, and a review on this palette,

The packaging is very retro and fun, and fits right into the palm of your hand, so it’s easy to travel with.

The Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette comes with four eyeshadows:

  • Woodstock, a hot pink best-selling shade
  • Verve, a pale oyster shimmer
  • Suspect, a coppery neutral
  • Darkhorse, a smoldering brown (from the much sought-after Naked Palette!)

I love that Urban Decay didn’t include any glitters into this palette. I love glitter eyeshadow, however, Urban Decay glitter eyeshadows cause me two problems: major fall out, and irritation. Urban Decay’s glitters seem to leave you with glitter all over your face, and they irritate my eyes, making them red, itchy, and watery. The fact that this palette has shimmers instead of glitters completely rocks my socks. This palette also includes Urban Decay’s 24/7 liner in “Whiskey,” a dark brown.

The shades, as always, are pigmented, and buttery smooth. These will last on your eyes with an eye primer for many hours…I even got ten hours of wear out of these!

The Lip Junkie lip gloss that comes with it is nice. I do prefer a deluxe primer potion, just because I am addicted to their primer, and it gets expensive keeping up with it (ha!). I did enjoy trying out a new product from them, though, and I liked that the hot pink color matches “Woodstock” eyeshadow so well. This lip gloss smells and feels super fresh and minty on your lips, and is completely not sticky. In fact, this lip gloss was smooth and silky, and felt wonderful on my lips!

Pretty, pretty! I wish I was more of a lip gloss person, because I would totally buy this lip gloss in full size now that I know how beautiful it feels and looks on the lips. It’s like pure glass!
