Lookbook: Easter-inspired Manicure

With Easter coming, I decided to do an Easter/Spring inspired manicure with pretty pastel colors and quirky colorful dots. Just looking at my fingers cheers me up when I need to smile, and they remind me of a basket of vivid Easter eggs. This manicure is super easy to do, and only took me a few extra minutes than a normal one. So grab a bunch of your pastel nail polishes, and

What You Will Need: 4 different pastel colored nail polishes. You can use whatever colors you have on hand, or prefer. I am using China Glaze’s “Lemon Fizz,” “Re-fresh Mint,” Orly’s “Cotton Candy,” and a lavender polish by Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear.

How To Get This Manicure: Have fun with the colors! You are the artist, so you can decide what fingers you want to place the colors on. I chose to use “Re-fresh Mint” on my pointer and ring fingers, “Lemon Fizz” on my middle finger, “Cotton Candy” on my pinkie, and the lavender on my thumbs. Then, simply take the other shades once your base coats are dry, and get all excess nail polish off the brush. Use the brush to place dots of the other various colors on your nails! The dots don’t need to be perfect…and that is what makes this manicure look so quirky and cute.

Playing around with pastels is a great way to create a really cheerful, feminine manicure. I actually love pastels so much that I may end up wearing this manicure for a couple weeks after Easter, as well. You can also wear this manicure without the dots and just the different pastel colored fingernails for a more sophisticated vibe.
