Lookbook: Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, Photographs & Swatches

The coveted Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette is here, and it has made a tremendous boom in the beauty community. This palette was released last week with the first shipment being 5,000 palettes. Within several hours, the palette was sold out, and I was fortunate enough to have gotten my order in! To preface this entire post, I do own the original and first Urban Decay Naked Palette. I have probably used that palette the most throughout the entire year of 2011, and so no matter how similar the two palettes are, I very much love this palette and I think it is completely worth owning it. Tutorial: Simple Urban Decay Rollergirl Eye Makeup Look

The busier my life gets (and I’m sure yours, as well), the more you search for simple, fast eye makeup looks you can achieve, while still looking fresh and pretty. The Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette is a gorgeous set of four eyeshadows, and it is a great example of how to wear pink eyeshadow without looking like you have an eye infection. Again, this look is not meant to be extremely complicated, and is something the average woman can achieve in less than ten minutes flat. To see photographs and how to get this look (you can use any similar shades in your collection as well!), read more…

Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook: Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette Photographs & Swatches

The brand new Urban Decay Rollergirl Palette is of a similar variation to the recent Summer of Love palette I showed from last summer, which was on sale at HauteLook recently. The packaging is a disco, rollerskating theme, and it’s absolutely adorable. Urban Decay usually puts a deluxe sample of their primer potion with their palettes, but instead this one comes with a hot pink Lip Junkie lipgloss. Just like last summer’s “Summer of Love” palette, this one comes with three neutral eyeshadows, and one bright pop of color. The difference is that the Rollergirl palette has no glitters in it, which is a good thing in my own opinion. To see photographs, swatches, and a review on this palette, read more…

Lookbook: Urban Decay HauteLook Sale Haul, Summer of Love Palette, Afterglow Powder Blushes

This is going to be a little bit of a nontraditional post, but I love reading blogs and watching videos where beauty lovers saved money on major makeup brands. A couple of weeks ago, HauteLook had an Urban Decay sale, and I grabbed 3 things from the sale. My entire total for what you see above? $25! I was proud of myself, especially since Urban Decay has amazingly pigmented products that are high quality, and most of their products cost $25 by themselves. To see my mini haul, read more…

Lookbook: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencil Review

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils are brand new to the Urban Decay product line, and are very similar to their amazingly popular 24/7 eyeliner pencils. With a chunkier pencil and tip, these pencils can be used as shadow all over the lid, or as eyeliner. Not only that, but they last, and won’t crease or budge until you remove them with makeup remover. To see photographs and swatches of my two favorites, “Morphine,” and “Delinquent,” read more…

Lookbook: Urban Decay Black Palette Swatches

main13

The Urban Decay Black Palette consists of six black-based eyeshadows, a travel size primer potion in Eden, and a travel size 24/7 eye pencil in “Zero,” a classic black. I had several requests for this palette, and I tend to be into darker shades of eyeshadow that are a little bit more “rock and roll,” so I figured this palette would be good for me. Did this palette live up to my expectations? To see more photographs and swatches, read more…

Lookbook: Urban Decay 24/7 Jackpot Set

mainuse2

Urban Decay’s 24/7 Liner Jackpot Set consists of 9 mini-eyeliners and one full size eyeliner, “Zero,” which is their best-selling shade, a classic black. With Urban Decay’s 24/7 eyeliner being my all-time favorite eyeliner, and “Zero,” being the one I reach for the most, this set is heaven for me. These eyeliners are waterproof, and they stay put, giving you gorgeous pigmentation. The problem is, these eyeliners cost $17 a pop for a full-size pencil, so when a set comes along that allows me to try and own multiple shades, I jump at the chance. It allows me to decide what shades I love, which ones are just alright, and which ones I will barely reach for, without dishing out a ton of money. To see photographs and swatches of every pencil in this kit, read more…

Lookbook: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils

pencilsmain

After getting several questions about the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils I decided to swatch the four that I currently own so that you can get a feel for what they look like. These eye pencils are some of the best that the makeup world has to offer, with their waterproof, long-lasting formula, and their creamy, rich application. I personally use “Zero,” the black pencil, more than any other liner in my entire makeup collection. To see swatches of “Flipside,” “Zero,” “1999,” and Mildew,” read more…
