I was originally drawn to MAKE UP FOR EVER Aqua Cream because of Britney Spears “Hold It Against Me” music video, where she features the product (and this exact shade) in it. Up until then, I assumed that because it was a cream eyeshadow that it would be a creased disaster, like so many other cream eyeshadow products I’ve tried. Inspired by how gorgeous her makeup was in the video, and my previous positive experiences with MAKE UP FOR EVER products, I went ahead and purchased Aqua Cream in #2, which is a metallic silver. MAKE UP FOR EVER is a fantastically artistic makeup line with highly pigmented, bold products meant for mixing, experimenting, and high drama. Aqua Cream, their latest product, is a waterproof and long-lasting cream meant for use on your eyes, cheeks, and lips. The shades are highly concentrated with mother-of-pearl and pigments in the twenty-two shades they offer. I personally purchased an Aqua Cream intended for use on the lips and cheeks, in #5 Peach. I was drawn to this shade because it looked like an exact replica of NARS famous and beloved “Orgasm,” providing a beautiful, universally flattering peachy-pink shade with a slight golden shimmer.
