The final Fergie-inspired eyeshadow palette kit from Wet n Wild is Fergie-Ferg Fresh and it’s another winner! Hurray! I was a little nervous when “Ferga-Vicious” was only so-so, but then “Glamour-Eyes” knocked my socks off and I felt like I had hope for this one. This one has intense pigmentation and the colors are insanely bright and fun, really the epitome of Fergie’s overall style and look. I love wearing purple and blue together because they blend wonderfully and look bright but soft (yes, it’s possible!) on the eyes. I put together a fun eye look using this palette inside, as well, so you could see how gorgeous this particular kit is!
I must confess, I love Fergie in smokey, glamorous looks, but how I originally remember her in The Black Eyed Pea’s from way back in 2003 is like the cover of this kit. She has always been completely fearless and doesn’t care what anyone thinks about her or her style, and I admire that about her. She’s unapologetically fierce and she starts some of the biggest trends in makeup, hair, and fashion. This kit comes with an eyeshadow palette, mascara, two mini-brushes, a liquid liner, and a shimmer pencil just like every other kit. The liquid liner in this kit is “Indigo Blue” and I highly recommend checking it out if you’ve got brown or hazel eyes because it is so bold and beautiful for you!
You can see that the bottom two shades are the most pigmented, though the purples above them are also pigmented, just softer in general. I decided to sweep the lilac shade over my eyelid and use the vivid sky blue in my crease, building up the color and intensity. Then, I swept the bright purple over my eyelid and just at the edge of the blue in my crease to blend it out and create a different purple shade. I used an eyeliner brush to draw the darkened navy around my lash-line and smoked it out into a cat-eye. I also applied the bright violet onto my enter lower lash-line for a fun pop of color. The end result is not subtle in any way, and it’s not supposed to be! This is for your wild child side baby!
