Wet n Wild Glamour-Eyes Eye Kit, Photographs, Swatches, Review, & Look

The second of three limited edition Fergie eyeshadow palettes by Wet n Wild is Glamour-Eyes, and the great news is in: it’s much better than the first one I reviewed! I had such high expectations for these, and when the first one was a bit hard to blend and work with, I was hoping that the next palettes would be amazing. The four eyeshadow shades in this kit are much easier to blend and work with on your actual eye and they have fantastic pigment. If you’re looking to glam it up, you’ll really like this particular set.

The jury is still out on whether or not people like the fact that these come in a kit. It does raise the price by a few dollars by including a mascara, eyeliners and brushes in with the kit, but seeing as how the entire kit is only $7.99, it is still a bargain. I don’t know what I will do with the abundance of eyeliners and mascara I will have now from purchasing all three kits, but for someone just starting out with makeup, it will come in handy.

Glamour-Eyes contains four eyeshadow shades: an icy light silver, a shimmering yellow-gold, a shimmering medium grey, and a glittery black. If you love shimmer eyeshadow, this is the kit for you. It is full-on glamazon! This is the perfect quad for creating a classic or metallic smokey eye.

Each shade had very good pigmentation and was very soft. I especially love the glittery black in this kit because it’s so sparkly, shiny, and fun! I put together a look using this palette to exhibit how beautifully these shades work on your actual eyes. I had no problems blending them out and working with them at all. I created a classic silver and black smokey eye and ran the yellow-gold shade across my bottom lash line for a pop of contrasting metallic color. I also added black gel liner to my upper lash-line, but only on the outer halves of the eyes to create more of an almond, cat-eye shape to my eye. I added some glitter liner on top of the black to top it all off!

I really, really like the way it looks when you work with metallic shades that contrast with one another. Don’t be afraid to mix up warm and cool. This look shows how silver and gold can work together well.

Overall: Glamour-Eyes definitely outperformed the first kit I reviewed, “Ferga-Vicious.” The eyeshadow was smooth, pigmented, and easy to work with.
