When I say that I searched for the three brand new Wet n Wild Fergie Eye Kits, I mean I really searched. I drove my husband and dad (who were good sports) crazy, stopping at every single drugstore in the two surrounding counties. Of course, low and behold, I found it when I least expected it, at a local Walgreens near my house. I did let out a minor shriek when I finally saw the display, and of course, scooped up all three kits. The first, Ferga-Vicious, is “for your edgy side,” and contains dramatic, dark shades. To see photographs, swatches, and a little look I did using the palette,
Each kit retails for $7.99 USD, and contains several different products, including: an eyeshadow quad, a shimmer eyeliner, a liquid eyeliner, a mascara, and two brushes. Now, let me be the first to say that I don’t really know how I feel about Wet n Wild making these into full kits. I don’t need the mini-mascara or the eyeliner, but if you are just starting out your makeup collection, it’s a really nice thing to have. I think overall, the fact that it is a “kit” drove up the price a little bit when I just really wanted the eyeshadow palettes. That being said, I do like the inclusion of the other products for those new to Wet n Wild or just starting out with makeup.
I think their liquid liner is great for the price, but it does require some precision and a steady hand. The inclusion of the eyelash/eyebrow comb and separator is nice too, since I’m always losing and misplacing mine. The silver shimmer eyeliner included with this particular kit is pretty nice and goes well with the colors of the eyeshadow. Other than that, I would’ve been just fine with the eyeshadow palette for a few dollars alone.
As far as the eyeshadow actually on the eyes…well, it wasn’t dreadful, but it wasn’t A+ Wet n Wild material, I have to be honest. I found the colors to be a bit patchy and powdery, and it was a little bit hard to blend out. Considering the price of this kit was $7.99, I’m not going to complain very much, but I guess I’m spoiled when it comes to Wet n Wild products. I expect them to be all A+’s like they’ve been in the past.
You can see where the eyeshadow got a bit patchy and chalky looking on my eyelid, and this is with eyeshadow primer. Not the worst quality, but not the best either. I also think that the front picture of Fergie is a bit misleading, as it does not look like the actual eyeshadow shades in this palette very much. The directions on the inside of the box are confusing, and give you some puzzling directions as to how to achieve the look Fergie is wearing on the packaging. As a makeup enthusiast, even I found the directions to make no sense, so I basically disregarded them and did my own look.

What I have been dying to know is what lipstick fergie is wearing on the Ferga-vicious box. Any ideas?

Hi Diana! I actually don’t know the exact lipstick she is wearing, but you can try Wet n Wild’s “Think Pink” and/or “Bare It All.” Both are somewhat similar to her nude pink lip!
