I had been on the lookout for these after seeing someone swatch these on Snapchat. The brand new highlighters from Wet n Wild are “Precious Petals” and “Crown of My Canopy.” They are part of a new collection for Spring 2016, and my husband happened to spot the small display inside of a local Walgreens for me. I have been looking forward to photographing and swatching these for the blog, just because I heard how pigmented and luxurious these are for a drugstore product. Needless to say, these do not disappoint and rival many high-end highlighters for me. Full swatches and thoughts are inside,

Wet n Wild Highlighting Powder is made for highlighting any area of your skin. You can use it to highlight your body, as well, such as along the tops of your legs or your collarbone. I use these on my cheekbones, down the center of my nose, my brow-bone, and on my cupid’s bow above my lips.
Precious Petals is a rose-gold highlight. It’s got some pink tones in there, but it also has a warmth of golden sheen to it. It’s sort of a hybrid between a peach shimmer and a rose gold. I cannot sing enough praises about this highlighter. It’s super soft, blendable, and pigmented. Both of these shades rival my favorite highlighters of all time, BECCA Cosmetics’ Pressed Shimmering Skin Perfector. If you want an inexpensive, drugstore accessible dupe for those, you’ve found your match!
Crown of My Canopy is a copper-bronze shimmer. It has stronger tones of orange and warmth to it than “Precious Petals.” Again, the formula is perfection. It applies and blends like a dream and a little bit of product goes a very long way. I applied my swatches heavily here so that you can really see the undertones and shimmer on camera.
You can see the differences in shade when they are swatched side-by-side above. Precious Petals is more pink and Crown of My Canopy is more orange.
For a price tag of under $5.00USD each, I’d snag both if you spot them. These will sell out quickly and they are limited edition for Spring 2016. These will be available at drugstores nationwide. I found my display at a local Walgreens, but not all of the Walgreens stores in my area are carrying this display yet as of when I made this post. Be on the lookout for it!
