At some point within the last six months, I’ve gone from almost never wearing eyeliner on my upper lash-line to feeling naked without it. I used to be a huge fan of lining my lower lashes, but now I’d much rather give myself a retro cat-eye flick and leave the bottom of my eyes alone. When I heard these were coming out I was super stoked because Milani always makes really long-lasting, vibrant eyeliner! The Milani Ultrafine Liquid Eye Liner is a fine felt-tip eye liner that comes out as a liquid. The shades alone are gorgeous, but add in a super long lasting formula, and the easiest felt tip applicator you’ve ever used, and you’ve really got a winning product here.

The Milani Ultrafine Liquid Eye Liners come with a very small, precision-made felt tip applicator. The applicator has the perfect amount of “give” to it, meaning it’s not floppy like a brush, but it’s also not so hard and pointy that it will stab your eye area. It’s soft enough to gently glide along your lash-line, and the fact that the tip is so fine makes it a cinch to apply. I especially like it for getting into the inner corners of my upper lash-line and creating a cat-flick at the outer corners of my eyes. Both of these can be difficult to achieve properly with an eyeliner brush, especially if you’re just getting started with makeup.

You just don’t get better than this in terms of rich, pigmented color. These liners put down very rich color and they sparkle beautifully (except for “Black Vinyl” which is a plain black) I am so in love with each and every single one of these.

These remind me of the Stila Sparkle Liquid Eye Liners, almost exactly, and I actually prefer these over the two Stila liners I own. For one, I felt that these lasted much longer on me than the Stila ones, and they also won’t put a major dent in your wallet like the Stila liners will. I’d say that these Milani Ultrafine Liquid Eye Liners are the ideal dupe for the Stila Sparkle Liquid Eye Liners…for a fraction of the price!

In action on my eyes above is “Black Gems.” It was so incredibly easy to use! I tilted the tip slightly on its’ side when I got closer to the inner corners of my eyes and needed a much thinner line. It also made creating the cat-flick easier than ever before. I basically felt like I was drawing on my eyes, so I felt very in control of where I was placing the product. When I’m wearing these I want to be an “eye model” for Milani…that is how much I love them!

Overall: If you couldn’t tell, I am in love with these liners! I think they are pigmented, rich, sparkling, and easy to apply. If you’re looking for an inexpensive alternative to Stila’s Sparkle Liner, this is it. These will last for many hours on your eyes, as well. Even when I went to go remove this liner after eight hours, it was perfectly in place with absolutely no smudging whatsoever.
