This is going to be a little bit of a nontraditional post, but I love reading blogs and watching videos where beauty lovers saved money on major makeup brands. A couple of weeks ago, HauteLook had an Urban Decay sale, and I grabbed 3 things from the sale. My entire total for what you see above? $25! I was proud of myself, especially since Urban Decay has amazingly pigmented products that are high quality, and most of their products cost $25 by themselves. To see my mini haul,
The packaging is absolutely amazing! I am very much a hippie, peace-loving, flower-in-her-hair kind of girl, and I love the design around the entire palette. It’s retro, psychedelic, and fun!
How gorgeous are those eyeshadow shades? I fell in love with them because there are 3 beautiful neutrals, and then that pop of bright, vivid color with the purple. This years Urban Decay palette is actually very similar, with 3 neutrals and a bright fuchsia pink, called the “Rollergirl Palette” which I just recently purchased. I paid $15 for this palette during the HauteLook sale!
Quickie is your typical Barbie pink. It is very pigmented and a small swipe of this goes a long way.
Score is a stunning peachy coral color. This looks so much prettier on the skin than it does in the packaging. When I swatched this, I was blown away by the beautiful sheen it has to it. It looks really great against my skin tone, and I think this is a universally flattering blush to be honest.
Both of these blushes gave me above average wear…around 8-12 hours, depending on whether you use a face primer or not.

Hurrah for sales! I’m sure the UK beauty bloggers here wish we had something like Haute Look.
