Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Ivy Shimmer Ink is a gorgeous, shimmering emerald green gel eyeliner. Bobbi Brown was having a 20% off Friends & Family sale last week, and this has been on my wish-list for some time, so I scooped it up while I could. I personally adore gel eyeliners, with my favorite being MAC’s “Blacktrack” gel eyeliner. Sometimes, though, you want to add a little color without being overly dramatic or wild…Ivy Shimmer Ink is perfect for this! It’s a dark emerald green, but it has small flecks of teal shimmer in it that light up when they hit certain angles. It’s an absolutely stunning gel eyeliner, and the perfect alternative to black. The flecks of shimmer in this eyeliner are completely smooth and won’t irritate your eye area. Everything from the packaging to the formula reminds me so much of my all-time favorite gel eyeliner, MAC Cosmetics “Blacktrack,” so that was a sign that I would love it. I got a long wear out of this eyeliner just as the name suggests…over ten hours on my upper lash line with no creasing or running. For a gel eyeliner to last that long, and not irritate my eyes is a miracle.
