Maybelline released a collection of pearl inspired lipsticks and lip glosses called ColorSensational “The Pearl Collection.” I reviewed the “Pearly Pink” lip gloss from this collection a couple of weeks ago, and I finally picked up the lipstick which many beauties have been raving about lately. Maybelline ColorSensational Lipstick in “Pearly Pink” is a nude toned baby-doll pink lipstick, with loads of shimmer in it. The shade really works well with a variety of skin tones, making dark skin glow, medium skin look tanner, and complementing fair skin.
The formula on this lipstick is a pleasure to apply. It feels hydrating on your lips, and has the perfect amount of shine to it. The only thing about this lipstick that you have to look out for is the shimmer. The shimmer really highlights every flake and imperfection on your lips, so be sure to exfoliate well and hydrate chapped lips or you will have a mess.
Maybelline ColorSensational Lipstick in “Pearly Pink,” retails for $7.99 and can be found at your local drugstore, as well as mass retailers such as Target, Walmart, and Ulta.
