Glitter Eyes & Metallic Lips featuring Milani Amore Metallic Matte Lip Creme in “Pretty Problemattic” & Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter Liquid Eyeshadow in “Rose Gold Retro”

I have spoken quite fondly of the Stila Cosmetics Magnificent Metals Glitter Liquid Eyeshadows, and I can safely say that they are my favorite makeup release in the last 6 months. They go on like a cream, dry down to a budge-proof finish, and leave behind an insanely stunning amount of glitter. Today I used a new shade I picked up, “Rose Gold Retro.” I also used one of the most beautiful vampy lip shades I own, Milani Amore Metallic Matte Lip Creme in “Pretty Problemattic.” It’s a deep burgundy with flecks of bright red shimmer while maintaining a matte base. I have the full details of what I used and plenty of up close high resolution photographs for you to take a peak at!

The main products from this post are the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter Liquid Eyeshadow in “Rose Gold Retro” and Milani Amore Metallic Matte Lip Creme in “Pretty Problemattic.” I also included a picture of the KISS false lashes I used, which I purchased at my local Walmart in the makeup section. They were less than $5.00USD for two pairs and they are super long, wispy, and beautiful.

For this eye looks, I pulled out my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette to use in the crease of the eye. You can genuinely use any makeup palette you have that contains a rosy mauve and a black matte shade. I applied the rosy mauve shade into the crease of my eye and blended it upward, as well as along the lower lashes. I used the matte black shade using a very light hand in the outer corners of my eyes to create depth.

Here is where I went in with Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter Liquid Eyeshadow in “Rose Gold Retro” and applied it all over the eyelid. You can brush it on directly from the applicator, but you will most likely need a small eyeshadow brush to spread it out and pat it on so that you get a precise application. I also applied this in the inner corners of my eyes.

A small tip when using the Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter Liquid Eyeshadow in “Rose Gold Retro” is to let it dry while your eye is looking straight down. This prevents the glitter from transferring to your crease and upper eye. Once it dries, it’s budge-proof and will not transfer. The formula dries pretty quickly, usually between 20-30 seconds maximum.

I just cannot get enough of these Stila Cosmetics Magnificent Metals Glitter Liquid Eyeshadows. I already own 2 shades and I would like to go back and own them all at some point. They are definitely my favorite release of the past 6 months in the beauty world, simply because they sparkle and shine like no other and they stay put for hours.

The Milani Amore Metallic Matte Lip Creme in “Pretty Problemattic.” is a stunner. It’s a deep burgundy wine shade with red reflects in it. The base is matte but it has a metallic finish to it. These are some of the best inexpensive matte lipsticks on the market. You can find them in any CVS drugstore.

Absolutely breathtaking.

The finished look comes together with subtle blush and contouring. The eyes are very glittery and the lips are metallic and dark, so keeping the complexion neutral is key.
