While at Walgreens this week, I came across a huge limited edition display that contained some of the new limited edition Wet n Wild Lipsticks for Fall 2014. I do believe that one or two of them may be re-promotes, meaning they aren’t actually completely new, but I figured I would go ahead and swatch them anyway in one large post. I’ve got full swatches and my review inside of each of these 6 lipsticks…
Think Pink is a gorgeous pastel Barbie-pink shade. I realized after I bought this that I probably already own this shade because it is a re-promote. I figured I would show it anyway because it’s such a wearable, flattering color for a variety of skin tones. It does settle into fine lines on your lips easily because it is pastel, so be sure to prep your lips well beforehand.
Rose-Bud is a gorgeous mid-tone rose shade that is super flattering because it doesn’t lean too cool or too warm. This is such a beautiful shade because it puts down a natural rosy color. This shade is super pigmented as well, so one or two swipes and you’re good to go.
Bare It All is also a re-promote I believe, but it is a neutral nude brown. This shade works really well with dramatic eyes, smokey eyes, and colorful eyelid shades. This goes on super smooth and has a ton of rich color to it.
Coming In Latte is a mid-tone brown shade. 90’s grunge, anyone? The grunge look is making a huge comeback when it comes to makeup and lipstick, so this shade will be right up your alley if you’re into that. This shade will look particularly gorgeous on olive to medium and dark skin tones, as well as those with chocolate brown and red hair.
Rose To Fame is a universally flattering rosy mauve shade. This one is a stunner and it’s hard to believe that it is a drugstore lipstick and costs under $3.00 USD. It’s rich in color, smooth, and ideal for everything from the office to every day.
Urban Nights is a sexy merlot berry shade. Super rich, super pigmented, and perfect for the colder months coming. If you want to try dark lipstick but don’t want to commit to something expensive, this is your pick!
All of these lipsticks are full of pigment, which I love. These are a major beauty bargain because of how rich in color they are. You can build these up to be super opaque or leave them on the sheer side. I really love the new additions to the lipstick line and I think the colors are perfect for a lot of different skin tones and preferences.
All of these Wet n Wild Lipsticks retail for $2.99 USD each, making them a major beauty bargain. You can easily buy several shades without breaking the bank and you can commit to a shade you’re not sure about without investing too much money. I’m a huge fan of these lipsticks!
