These limited edition Milani Cosmetics Constellation Gel Eyeliners are going to knock your socks off. I had been seeing pictures of them float around cyberspace lately and then Milani sent me them for review and I was blown away by how gorgeous they are. These are super pigmented, creamy, and just absolutely dreamy to look at. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing to look at, but the multi-dimensional sparkle really translates well once you place the product on your skin. I’ve got full swatches inside,
As soon as I pulled these out of the shipping box today I had to squeal. They are just absolutely stunning from first sight. They are full of different specks of color and shimmer. There are 3 different shades total in the collection. Each comes with a small eyeliner brush, which I like to keep around in my makeup collection for smudging out powder eyeshadow.
With flash, these really light up. Each gel eyeliner is meant to look like a constellation. Milani did a fantastic job at creating these because they really do look intergalactic! They are almost so pretty that you don’t want to dip your brush or finger into them!
03 – Enchanted Emerald is a darkened emerald green that sits in a black base and has bright green, blue, and violet shimmer in it. This is stunning. One swipe with my finger and this put down super opaque color. I was so pleased with how creamy and rich this gel liner is. This shade is absolutely stunning and the shimmer in it is even more beautiful in person.
02 – Enchanted Black Opal is a pure black with a mixture of emerald, violet, and gold shimmer in it. This shade actually has a duo-chrome effect to it, so when you move your hand around it will take on different shades. Again, this is absolutely magnificent in color and super opaque. I cannot get over how intensely perfect these gel eyeliners are.
01 – Enchanted Lapis is a royal navy blue with loads of teal and violet shimmer in it. It also has a duo-chrome effect to it like the others and applied beautifully. It’s so hard to choose a favorite out of the 3 of these, but this one is just extra gorgeous in person, so this one might be my favorite.
Once you dip your finger into these, it will look like the above. You will lose that initial pattern on top, but it’s not a shimmer over-spray that only lays on top of the product, which I love. There are so many products out there that only have an over-spray of shimmer or glitter and then once you rub it off, it’s gone. This one maintains it’s depth and shimmer all the way through. I honestly could not ask for a better formula or a better product. These all performed really well and are beyond gorgeous.
I would personally wear these as an eyeshadow base, or all over the eyelid. These would make fantastic eyeshadow shades when you spread them over your entire eye. You can use them as regular eyeliners on the top or bottom lash-line, of course. These would look super gorgeous patted on top of a black base, as well. The possibilities are truly endless and it’s a great multi-use product. For me, these are a must-have. I would rate these in my top 5 beauty products of 2014 to come out so far!
Milani Cosmetics Constellation Gel Eyeliners are part of the limited edition Bedazzled Collection. They are available at CVS and Walgreens stores nationwide for a limited amount of time.
