This release had me feeling all giddy inside like a little kid on Christmas morning. The Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection released last week and the main item I wanted from it was the Champagne Collection Face Palette. If you don’t know who Jaclyn Hill is, she is a long-time YouTube beauty guru and influencer who has had great success collaborating with Becca Cosmetics on her famous highlighter, “Champagne Pop.” This is an extension of that collection, and this face palette contains 5 stunning products for your face. First of all, the packaging is brilliant. It looks so chic and high-end, while also being sturdy. It catches your attention immediately and I think it really shows that time and thought was put into this collaboration.

When you pop the palette open, there is a clear insert with all of the shade names labeled. There are 3 blush shades and 2 highlight shades.

The top row contains: Rosé Spritz (a peachy pink with golden shimmer), Amaretto (a matte almond shade), and Pamplemousse (a matte warm coral pink).

The bottom row contains: Champagne Pop (a white gold with peachy-pink undertones), and Prosecco Pop (a true warm gold).

The blush shades are total perfection in terms of formula and pigmentation. Each of these is just one swipe of my finger. In fact, I’d be careful when dipping your brush into these because they are so rich in color, it is easy to over-apply them. A little swipe goes a very long way. I also love that there is a shimmer in there mixed with 2 matte shades. You can mix and match, layering shades to create your own custom formula.

The highlighters deserve critical acclaim as well. Even though “Champagne Pop” is a repromote of Jaclyn’s original lovechild highlighter, it’s nice to have it inside of this face palette so you can layer different shades together. As far as “Prosecco Pop,” well, let’s just say that it is stunningly luminous and photographs don’t do it justice. The formula is so creamy and lustrous and melts perfectly into the skin. Again, I like the idea of layering the highlight shades together to achieve different results.

The Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop Collection is available exclusively at Sephora online and Sephora stores nationwide. Right now the collection is only available online, but it will be released in stores on June 16th, 2016. Each Champagne Pop Collection Face Palette retails for $52.00USD. The next online restock is also June 16th, 2016, so mark your calendar if you want in on the next batch, because these sell out quickly.
