The number of questions I get asked about airbrush makeup in a typical month far exceeds most other beauty questions that come my way. People want to know how much it costs, if it is worth it, and what it would look like on their own skin. What if you could airbrush your skin every single day in the comfort of your own home? Enter the Mineral Air Portable Airbrush System. This device is 100% portable, fits right into your hand, and is rechargeable via USB cord. It’s simple, fast, and doesn’t make a huge mess. If that hasn’t already gotten you interested, just wait until you see the before and after of my skin after using this device!
Mineral Air fits right into your hand. You can easily travel with it, whether that’s through an airport or just in your own purse.
The device is set up to be 100% non-messy and simple. It’s lightweight and there are no hoses or cords to plug in and take out to clean.
The device charges through a USB cord that comes with it. You can hook it up to your computer and easily get hours of use after a short charge time.
To fill the device up, you simply pull back the small rubber stopper on top of the device and reveal a small reservoir.
The bottles of product need to be shaken a few times by hand before you place them directly into the small reservoir. Typically, 15-20 drops of product for one application is ideal. Once it is filled, you can seal the rubber stopper back up.
Application is simple as can be. You simply press the ON/OFF button, and hold the nozzle 3-4 inches from your skin. You want to use round, circular motions that are constantly moving so that product does not build up on any one part of your face. You will feel a light mist of product coming out of the device, but don’t be fooled…the airbrush system packs a big punch. Within a pass or two of each area, you will be able to see just how gorgeous your skin looks. It ends up looking flawless and natural, which is everything an airbrush should be.
Each device comes with 3 foundation shades, so you have options for when your complexion is lighter and darker. You can also mix shades to get your ideal tone. It also comes with their mineral bronzer and a small brush. For my own skin, I used “Medium” to match with the tan on the rest of my body.
How stunning is that before and after of Mineral Air? I was able to do this in less than 5 minutes in the privacy of my own home. It completely covered any redness my skin had, as well as old marks from blemishes. It evened out my skin beautifully and created a really natural looking canvas for the rest of my makeup to adhere to.
Mineral Air is meant to replace primer, concealer, mineral makeup, and hydrating serums. I didn’t use any primer or moisturizer ahead of time and I can honestly say I got a very full coverage on my face without needing any more makeup after just 1 application. At this point in my makeup routine, I would move straight on to contouring, blush, and setting powder.
