I recently swatched the Revlon Colorstay “Inspired” Palette, which the always gorgeous Olivia Wilde is wearing in the brand new Revlon advertisements. I decided to use the palette to show you how it looks on the eyelids, as well as give you an idea of how to wear such a bright, colorful palette of eye colors. Just because it’s the winter doesn’t mean you can’t wear colorful eyelids…in fact, it is often said that color can brighten up your mood! I ended up creating a mermaid-esque look with this palette, showcasing the teal, light green, and purplish-blue in a way that reminds me of the sea. Glitter. It’s the universally gorgeous sparkle that catches the attention of everyone, and yet many people are afraid that if they wear it they will end up looking dated. I am personally a huge advocate of glitter and anything sparkly, and I love to add pops of glitz to my makeup, nails, and clothes when I can. Most of us don’t want to walk around with full glitter eyes during the daytime, and a great alternative is to add a pop of glam with glitter eyeliner. Unfortunately, many glitter eyeliners just fail to perform and end up disappointing in wear time, glitter payoff, or formula. Sephora Glitter Eyeliners are my all-time favorite gel glitter eyeliners and I use these on a weekly basis believe it or not! Revlon has released a brand new collection of 16-Hour Colorstay Eyeshadow Palettes and they are absolutely lovely! I picked up “Inspired” after seeing the advertisement with Revlon spokeswoman Olivia Wilde wearing this exact palette. Not only are the colors a little bolder than usual for the colder months, but they looked absolutely stunning on Olivia in the photograph. Since I’m trying to branch out of my winter makeup rut right now that includes all neutrals, I decided to go ahead and give this one a try.
