As the new year is now upon us, I always spend time reflecting on what some of my resolutions and goals are for the year of 2012. I was able to write down three specific resolutions that I have for the new year, and I have an inspirational video coming up later today with some tips and tricks on how to come up with resolutions and stick to them.
Beauty Gala often focuses on the external…what lip colors we can put on our lips, what foundations covers our imperfections, and how we can tidy up our outer appearance. However, the inside is just as if not more important, and often reflects on the outside of us. As someone who tries to be health conscious the majority of the time, I often struggle to find beverages other than water that not only taste delicious, but don’t pack a ton of calories, sugar, or artificial sweeteners. Trop50, a juice beverage brought to you by Tropicana, delivers 50% less calories and sugar and absolutely no artificial sweeteners. I gave this juice beverage a try, and I really love it and think it’s a wonderful way to start my morning off. To see additional photographs and my review,
I love orange juice. I really do. I just don’t like how much sugar, calories, and other artificial ingredients so many of them have modern day. Since I love to start my morning off with any type of juice beverage, I was especially excited to hear about Trop50. Not only do they make it in orange, but they also have several other flavors including:
- Pomegranate Blueberry
- Farmstand Apple
- Pineapple Mango
- Raspberry Lemonade
- Lemonade
- Some Pulp Orange
- No Pulp Orange
I picked up “Some Pulp,” because as I have gotten older and broadened my taste buds, I really like the taste of fresh pulp in my orange juice. I am extremely excited to try some of the other flavors they offer, as well! My local store was completely wiped out of the Trop50 display, showing that many Americans are searching for a juice beverage that packs less calories and sugar. Trop50 packs all the flavor and goodness of a typical juice beverage, yet manages to be much better for your overall health.
There is something about orange juice that will always remind me of my childhood, and being with my dad. As a kid, he would always have at least two containers of orange juice in the refrigerator at all times. And it had to be Tropicana, because he was very picky and would only drink this brand. I have fond memories of him filling his cup up with orange juice and drinking it down completely, saying that it was the only way to start your day. Of course, the full day supply of Vitamin C in one serving doesn’t hurt either!
As I look onward to 2012, I want to encourage each and every one of you to make choices that will benefit your inner health as well as your outer health, no matter how small. Women, especially, tend to be selfless and huge multi-taskers in their everyday lives and it’s important to remember that treating your health is as important as putting on that just-right lipstick shade that makes your entire face glow.
