NYC Cosmetics is known as being the drugstore brand that has extremely inexpensive prices, sort of comparable to Wet ‘n Wild. When I walked into my local Rite Aid, I saw a display with a Summer 2010 Collection from NYC Cosmetics and was intrigued by these Blushable Creme Stick blushes. Revlon’s Spring/Summer 2010 Collection is a “Trends” collection which consists of colors and shades that have been seen on the runways for this season. Revlon’s Eyeshadow Quad for this collection is called “Summer Suedes” and consists of four shades: Baby pastel blue, Chocolate Brown with a baby blue duo-chrome to it, baby pastel pink, and a bright coral.  This quad was created by celebrity makeup artist and Revlon Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman, who said in the May 2010 ELLE magazine issue that she drew inspiration for this palette “from the cheery shades of Cordes-sur-Ciel, a small down in France” in which she saw these shades in the landscape, in the roofs, and in artisanal chalks and soaps. I personally purchased Coral Reef, Lilac Pastelle, and Pink Pop, and I am very pleased with these lipglosses.
