The Sephora Color Play 5-in-1 is composed of a large palette that contains five smaller palettes, each with ten eye-shadows, two lip glosses, and a blush. This kit also comes with an empty palette that each of the five smaller palettes can lock in to, for easy traveling. Each of the smaller five palettes gives you everything you need to create the perfect makeup look. When my good friend Erin gave me the heads up on this product, I knew I had to grab it since I am a huge fan of palettes and kits. To see more photographs,
The Sephora Color Play 5-in-1 comes with five named palettes, each with corresponding shades:
- Dinner In Paris contains grays and blacks, great for the perfect smokey eye.
- Coffee In New York contains browns and neutrals, great for the natural babe.
- Shopping In Milan contains mostly purples and pinks, for a fun, playful vibe.
- Tango In Buenos Aires contains blues and greens, perfect for tropical eye looks.
- Clubbing In Tokyo contains baby blues, pinks, and yellows. Perfect for creating vivid pastel looks.
Each of these five palettes fits perfectly into the empty palette the kit comes with, making it perfect for carrying it with you in your purse, or traveling. What I love most about this kit is how each of the five palettes has a complete look in it, from eyes, to lips, to blush. I am always looking for ways to lighten up my cosmetics load when I am staying overnight somewhere, and I will be sure to grab one of these palettes next time I travel. It’s light, it’s compact, and there are so many variations of looks you can do with just one single palette.
These colors are super pigmented, which was a huge plus for me, since sometimes eyeshadow in palettes does not give us the color payoff we were looking for. I have demonstrated just how pigmented these eye-shadows are by swatching a few of the eye-shadows from “Tango In Buenos Aires” below.
The best part about the Sephora Color Play 5-in-1? The price. This entire kit retails for $29.50 at local Sephora stores, and online. You simply cannot beat the quality of these palettes for that price. I highly recommend if you are a busy, on-the-go babe, or you simply love the versatility and value of palettes as much as I do, that you scoop this one up before it’s gone! For more ideas on how to use these palettes, Sephora has included a fun “Get The Look,” for each of these palettes, explaining step by step, color by color, how you can achieve the looks using this kit. Beauty Gala will be showcasing a couple of these looks today, to further show you how you can use this kit.

Love it! I’m so excited to get home – mine’s being delivered today! Would you be interested in maybe doing a video demo to show how to do one of the looks? I’d love to see one…no pressure though, I promise 🙂
