On Friday, October 28th, my husband and I celebrated three years of marriage. Without getting too mushy on you, I will say that time with him seems to not exist, as it just simply flies by. We married on the beach of Kapalua Bay, in Maui, Hawaii, and it was the most heavenly sixteen days on the islands. Today was a fairly lazy day in my house, and it felt nice. I did have to go to an early morning doctor appointment (on a Saturday!), but I got to enjoy breakfast with my hubby, and it was nice to come back home and snuggle with our dogs for a few more hours afterward. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at a great small local place we frequent called “Libby’s,” and they have the most delicious sandwiches and wraps there! Lately, I’ve been on some kind of orange/copper/peach eye makeup kick. I feel like it really brings out the blue and green in my eyes, and I’ve been enjoying it with matching peach lips which is really trendy right now. For those of you who follow me on Twitter, you may have heard how disappointed I was when I found out how quickly the My Paradise Cheek Powder from the MAC Surf Baby Collection sold out. The first day it was released, it was gone within an hour, and when they restocked a week later, it was gone again in an even shorter amount of time. My in-laws were visiting over Memorial Day weekend, and I decided to hit up my local MAC counter by chance. When I mentioned to the employee that everything I wanted was sold out online, she said, “I actually have two of those cheek powders left.” At this point, I may or may not have shrieked in the middle of a department store. Of course, I scooped one up with a goofy look of success on my face as she rang my purchase up at the counter. Physician’s Formula Happy Booster Bronzer is such a fun, gorgeous powder product! Everywhere I go, these bronzers and powders are always sold out on the shelves. I finally got my hands on the bronzer, though they also have the Happy Booster products in face powders and blush.
