I am starting to get major autumn fever. It’s my favorite season out of the year, and I am already looking forward to cooler weather and richer makeup shades. The all new Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks are truly fantastically pigmented and lovely in formula, and I had my eye on Venom from the very start. It’s bright and yet rich and vampy at the same time. It’s the perfect fall color, but I had a hard time finding this sucker! When I went to my local Sephora this past weekend, this shade was the only one that was sold out. Go figure. I finally ordered it online and received it and I’m so in love with it. Full swatches inside,
These Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks are a brand new product release by Urban Decay. There are many shades to choose from…pinks, reds, nudes…you name it. The lipstick bullet is really luxurious and nice looking. It has a heavy, sturdy, metallic encasing to it.
Venom is described as a “bright plum.” It’s an insanely gorgeous bright plum purple that has a rich darkness to it. It’s unique in that it’s vampy and dark, yet it has a brightness to it. It’s incredibly pigmented and put down wonderful color in just one swipe. The formula feels moisturizing and nice on the lips. I adore this color so much. It’s so flattering and ideal for the fall and winter.
The color has a very fine shimmer to it, as well, which you can notice up close. I’ll be wearing this shade constantly during the autumn and winter, but let’s be honest, it’s so gorgeous that I’m getting a head start on the seasons.
Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks are available at Sephora and Ulta stores nationwide. You can also browse and purchase these online at Sephora’s website. Each lipstick retails for $22.00 USD and there are twenty shades available. There are two Urban Decay exclusive shades that you can only purchase on Urban Decay’s website, for a total of twenty-two shades to choose from. I’m personally loving the creamy, pigmented, rich color this lipstick puts down and Venom is my current favorite lipstick shade.
