Happy August! One of the new Lancome Color Design 5 Shadow & Liner Palette’s is Peach Opulence, this gorgeous set of glimmering shadows meant to brighten your eyes. What I love the most about this particular palette is how flattering it is on absolutely everyone, regardless of your skin tone and eye color. It’s full of neutral shades that can be used for a subtle look or a dramatic nighttime appropriate look. These shades are so smooth and the light is just drawn to them. I don’t know about you but I could certainly use brightening eye makeup at all times with how tired I am during the week. I’ve got full swatches and a makeup look using the palette inside,

These Lancome Color Design Palettes have been around for awhile, but they add gorgeous new ones every so often into the mix. Peach Opulence is one of their newest.
Peach Opulence contains five shades: a matte beige shade (the “base” shade), a peachy-pink shimmer (the “eyelid” shade), a shimmering brown (the “crease” shade), a glimmering champagne (the “highlight” shade), and a matte black (the “eyeliner” shade). Each palette comes with a pull-out booklet showing you a guide on how to achieve a daytime look using the palette as well as a nighttime look. You can, of course, use the palette however you want. The shades are super velvety soft and pigmented. The shades are meant to go together well to brighten, lift, and contour your eye area.
If you’re a neutral eye makeup lover, you’ll love this palette. There’s a nice mix of shades that are flattering on everyone, and you can use the shades for a natural look or a very dramatic look. I chose to use the peachy-pink shade over my entire eyelid and along my lower lash-line. I brushed the brown into the crease of my eye and blended it upward and into the outer-third of my eyelid. I used the shimmering champagne shade as my eye highlight and I also applied a bit to the center of my eyelid so it looked extra shimmery. I used the matte black shade to draw a thin line along my upper and lower lash-lines. I used a brush to smudge it out so it looked nice and soft.
I am definitely impressed with this eyeshadow palette. The shades are soft and blendable, and most importantly, universally flattering.
The Lancome Color Design 5 Shadow & Liner Palette in Peach Opulence is available at Lancome counters nationwide. You can also find these at Sephora stores nationwide and browse and purchase these online at Sephora’s website. Each palette retails for $49.00 USD. There are many other palette options for you depending on what colors and shades you like to wear!
