It’s time for an update on my Tria Beauty Hair Removal Laser 4X Journey. I am currently halfway through my 5th week of using this bad boy. If you missed my original post, please read it here. I detail how to use the device and what my initial thoughts were. Since I’m almost halfway through my 12 week challenge now, I thought I would go ahead and give you my results so far. Is it zapping my hair and getting rid of it or has it fallen short?
This Tria Beauty Hair Removal Laser 4X device is my lifeline now. It stays plugged in and charging on a daily basis next to my vanity. I am currently up to a Level 5, which is the maximum level you can put the device on. My hair follicles have definitely gotten used to the zapping feeling and it has become far less “painful” at this point. When I use the word “painful,” I feel like I am being dramatic. I have a very high pain threshold, but even at maximum level, this device will give you a hot, rubberband-snapping type of sensation at most.
I spent the first few weeks at a Level 3 and Level 4, and I worked my way up to the Level 5 in the past two weeks. For me, I want maximum results in the shortest amount of time and effort possible. It’s worth it for me to feel a little discomfort for a second or two if my hair will not grow back.
SO WHAT ARE MY 5 WEEK RESULTS?
This is what my leg looks like after not shaving for a WEEK AND A HALF. I am basically in awe that this device works exactly as it says it will. I guess I am always slightly skeptical of products at first because of the industry I am in. There are so many products that don’t do what they say they will do, and let’s face it, being able to do laser hair removal at home seems almost too good to be true. It’s not.
Though my hair is still growing back in, it is much, much slower and finer. I can get away with this amount of growth without my legs looking hairy and funky. I basically only have to shave every 1.5 to 2 weeks now. As someone who has had a ton of issues with extreme itching after shaving my legs, I am thrilled. I no longer pick and gnaw at my legs, scratching away at them. I am able to shave less which saves me time.
It’s also fantastic for me because I am a runner and workout a lot, so I’m almost always wearing athletic clothing. I like to wear shorts during the spring and summer, of course, and it’s nice to be able to throw on a pair of shorts whenever I want and not worry about my legs being “too hairy” for that. It has saved me time, money, and a lot of scarring on my legs. My legs used to be all scratched up, bruised, and scarred from me itching them so hard and now they actually look like they are on the mend!
Overall, I am ecstatic. I am beyond thrilled at my 5 week results so far. I can’t wait to see what the next several weeks bring and whether or not I can get away with not shaving much at all anymore. I am more than happy with my results so far because it has made my life so much easier and made me much more confident about showing my legs off.
