The Too Faced Rock n Roll Eyeshadow Palette is an Ulta exclusive with 7 brand new eyeshadow shades and 9 eyeshadow shades total. The packaging on this palette is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly edgy to fit the mood of rock n roll! Inside I’ve got full swatches of each shade and my thoughts on the entire palette…

The Too Faced Rock n Roll Eyeshadow Palette features a lot of shimmers and metallic jewel tones. If you’re a lover of shimmer, a bit of glitter, and some seriously pigmented metallic colors you will adore this palette. Upon opening the palette, I instantly squealed. It’s just absolutely gorgeous and has the most wonderful range of jewel tones in it.
The palette is set up similarly to every other Too Faced palette. You have 3 rows of 3 eyeshadow shades, with each one labeled as “Day,” “Classic,” and “Fashion.” You can obviously mix and match shades and don’t need to follow the exact descriptions they have, but it does come with a makeup guide inside to help you recreate looks with the shades inside. If you’re a beginner at makeup or need help with creativity, it’s really a great inclusion to the palette.
FIRST ROW (DAY):
Rockabilly is a matte beige that puts down great pigmentation. It’s not powdery or chalky at all and it’s great for blending out crease shades, as a brow-bone shade, and on the inner corners of your eyes. Rap is a shimmering metallic gold. It’s a very true gold shade that leans yellow-orange and it’s super pigmented. Ska is a shimmering chocolate brown that put down rich color in just one swipe.
SECOND ROW (CLASSIC):
New Wave is a unique pale pink shade that is matte but contains silver glitter in it. I love the effect of it being a matte shade with glitter in it. Pop is a metallic violet that looks darker around the edges and really lights up in the middle. Heavy Metal is a metallic navy blue with very fine purple and green shimmer in it. All of these shades had great pigmentation!
THIRD ROW (FASHION):
New Romantic is a shimmering champagne beige shade. Glam Rock is a muted (sort of matte) grey with loads of shimmer in it. This shade reminds me of “New Wave” above because it’s got quite a matte, flat finish but has bits of glitter and shimmer in it. Both shades are really unique and lovely. Punk is a stunning metallic emerald green. I’m not usually a huge green lover but this shade is HOT! It just lights up when you swatch it and it’s so pigmented and soft.
Overall, I adore this palette. I had no issues at all with the pigmentation of any of the colors. If these shades are your type of style, you don’t want to miss out on this palette. For me personally, this is a must have makeup item!
The Too Faced Rock n Roll Rock Candy Eyeshadow Collection Palette is an Ulta and Ulta.com exclusive. Each palette retails for $36.00 USD. This palette will be available at Ulta stores and Ulta’s website June 2014. The official ship date is listed as June 1st, 2014, however, I have not seen these in my local Ulta stores yet. I asked an employee and she told me it would be a few weeks yet until they got them in stock. There will also be a neutral palette called “Country – Nashville Nudes Eyeshadow Collection.” You can see a preview of the “Country” Eyeshadow Palette below:
I’ll be doing some makeup looks using the Rock n Roll Eyeshadow Palette coming up, so stay tuned!
