I was pretty amazed at the technology behind this curling iron. The T3 Twirl 360 Curling Iron senses the movement of your hand and automatically rotates the barrel in that direction. It definitely felt incredibly modern and reminded me how far we have come with technology in beauty products. I’ve got a full review and a before and after comparison for you inside!
The T3 Twirl 360 Curling Iron has motion sensing technology that is also used in aviation, space exploration, and other hi-tech applications. Gyroscopic digital technology detects motion and orientation to move and rotate objects with great precision and little effort. Long story short, this iron basically does all the work for you!
Here are some quick tidbits about the curling iron:
- 1.25-inch barrel, which is great for loose waves and curls.
- Single “Go“ button: barrel activates with a press of a button and a simple turn of the wrist
- Digital SinglePassTM technology: constantly measures and adjusts the temperature across the entire barrel for accurate, consistent heating while styling
- Mid-length clamp: ideal for curling any length of hair—even if it’s layered
- Cool tip: makes it easy to safely and quickly maneuver the curling iron
- Nine-foot 360° swivel cord: professional-length with swivel prevents cord tangling for hassle-free styling
- Two-year warranty: comprehensive coverage and support options
The design is super sleek and really fancy looking. It’s definitely a beautiful hair tool aesthetically and it is simple enough to use and operate without wondering what all of the buttons do.
HOW TO USE:
Once you turn the device on, you will see 5 lights on the bottom that show it has turned on and is heating up. From the get go, this iron heated up extremely fast. I was impressed! I hate when hair devices take forever to get hot, especially when you’re in a rush.
The round button you see by the metallic gold part of the iron is the “Go button.” You press this button once you place the end of your hair inside the clamp. At that point, just flick your wrist in any direction and the curling iron will automatically twist your hair for you! It’s incredibly cool and modern, and it takes practically no effort whatsoever to curl your hair quickly with this device.
I divided my hair into 1-2 inch sections and curled them all away from my face by twisting my wrist outward. The curling iron automatically knew which direction I wanted my curls in and wound my hair around the barrel. I definitely felt like I was living in the space age with how “smart” this tool is. If you’re tired in the morning or you just hate the thought of curling your hair, this takes all of the work out of it. You could probably curl your hair while half asleep with your eyes closed! Super simple, super fast.
BEFORE: I’m on second day hair here. Since I’ve gone over to pastel hair, I have washed my hair less often. It has also improved the health of my hair. My hair was a big wavy mess at this point, which is my natural hair texture.
AFTER: My hair has loose curls that give my hair volume toward the middle and ends of my hair, which I like. Sometimes long hair can look a bit “limp,” but it really makes my hair look voluminous.
You can see the side-by-side above. In general, I prefer loose curls and waves in my hair…something that looks laid back and relaxed. It makes my hair look much more polished and it took me under 5 minutes to do my entire head.
The fact that I can curl all of my hair in under 5 minutes with this iron is what makes it so attractive to me. I really noticed that being able to just move my wrist in a certain direction takes the work out of curling my hair. Also, I definitely noticed that the curls were evenly heated throughout the process. It did a really nice job at giving me the loose polished waves I enjoy wearing.
Overall, I think this is a great hair tool product for those who often rush through their beauty routines. It is also great for all types of hair lengths and haircuts. It felt gentle on my hair, not like it was burning or damaging it. I also noticed that the curls lasted all day long, through a ton of humidity I may add. This product is an investment, especially at the price point of $230. However, I do feel that investing in high quality hair tools are worth it. Over the years I have gone through countless hair dryers, curling irons, and straighteners…all because I went with an inexpensive, lower quality item. In the end, I ended up spending the same amount as if I had just purchased a high quality item that would have lasted. Investment pieces will stay with you for years and years as long as you are taking care of them and storing them properly.
The T3 Twirl 360 Curling Iron is available to purchase online here. You can also find this tool in Sephora stores nationwide. Each curling iron retails for $230.00USD.
