Spring 2011 Lookbook: NARS Nouveau Monde Eyeshadow Duo Swatches





NARS Nouveau Monde Eyeshadow Duo is brand new for spring 2011, and is a silky soft, smooth eyeshadow combination for the warmer months. You may originally look at these shades and wonder how they will work together at first (like I did), but they go together beautifully. Both shades have a beautiful metallic sheen to them, are extremely pigmented, but at the same time soft. To see photographs and swatches of this eyeshadow duo,











Nouveau Monde contains two eyeshadows, both metallic, and literally translates into “new world” in English. On the left side, you have a metallic silver lilac, and on the right side you have a rich metallic olive gold. While both shades are extremely pigmented and rich, they also have a sheen that makes them appear light as air against your skin, making them perfect for the warmer months. If you are unfamiliar with NARS eyeshadows, trust me when I tell you that every single one of them will knock your pretty socks off!











I bought the NARS Front Row Set from Sephora (which is currently out of stock from popularity), which contains this eyeshadow duo, as well as a lipgloss, eyeliner, and a highlighter. However, this eyeshadow duo is also sold completely separate as part of their collection.
