NARS sent me their gorgeous “Spring It Forward” Spring 2018 Collection last week and I couldn’t wait to feature it on the blog. It’s full of luminous, metallic hues and finishes which is something we’re seeing as being overall very trendy right now. The collection includes 4 Lip Cover shades, 2 Velvet Shadow Sticks, a Liquid Blush, and a Blush/Highlighter. I also put a makeup look together using most of the products from the collection so don’t miss it!

From left to right:

1. NARS Liquid Blush in Hot Tin Roof is a stunning sienna shade. It is incredibly pigmented and even one pump of product is more than enough for both cheeks. I love this shade because it works universally on all skin tones, even those with medium-dark and dark complexions. There’s a really naturally beautiful quality to the way it blends and when you couple that with how natural the shade is, you get the ideal “just worked out” flush on your cheeks. My favorite way to apply this is with a beauty blender or my fingers.
2. NARS Velvet Shadow Sticks in Galice & Frioul are both long-lasting cream eyeshadow pigments. Galice is ethereal and really glows in the light (it looks amazing on the water-line). Frioul is a bit darker and has some bluish reflects to it. Both are metallics and don’t budge once they are set. I love swiping these across my eyes and blending them with a single brush or my ring finger. It’s a simple, quick product to use that gives you a refined finish.
3. NARS Blush/Highlighter in Free Soul is a light, shimmering pink shade. Depending on your skin tone, you can use this as a blush or as a highlight. I personally used it on the top of my cheekbones to give myself a glowy look, but if your skin is more fair, this would definitely be a great blush option for you.

These have great coverage and they are more of a satin finish once they dry down a bit. Summer Fire and Embrasse Moi have a metallic finish to them whereas Hell Gate and Under Arrest are pure creme finishes.
