Urban Decay releases limited edition palettes every so often, and almost every single time, they are a home run. The latest by Urban Decay is the “Alice in Wonderland,” palette, which is inspired by the Tim Burton movie. This palette, the “Book of Shadows, Volume II,” happens to be my favorite Urban Decay set. The set comes with sixteen Urban Decay eye-shadows, two mini 24/7 pencils, and a deluxe sample of Urban Decay Primer Potion. To see swatches of the eye-shadows, as well as more photographs,
- Urban Decay Eye-shadow Primer Potion is a long lasting primer for your eyeshadow. It glides on with sheer color and application, preventing your eyeshadow from creasing or smudging.
- Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencils are ultra creamy, long lasting eyeliner pencils. This set gives you a deluxe sample of “Zero,” and “Bourbon,” a black and a dark brown eyeliner.
The eye-shadows in this palette are extremely pigmented and apply smoothly, with the exception of “Midnight Cowboy Rides Again,” which has glitter particles, and often has a lot of fallout, regardless of how you apply it.
This palette was limited edition, but can still be purchased via eBay, and other online retailers who may carry limited edition products. Most Urban Decay palettes are very desirable, and often sell out quickly, so when you see one go on sale, be sure to snag it if you love it!
