Lookbook Review: Clinique Almost Lipstick, “Black Honey”

Between the name of this lipstick and the photograph above, you’re probably thinking that I am about to show you a pure black lipstick, but I am not! Clinique Almost Lipstick in “Black Honey” is one of my top 3 favorite lipsticks to wear in the fall and winter for its sheer, moisturizing color and formula. The shade is sheer, but buildable, so you can make the color more dramatic, or simply give yourself a wash of raisin color. I have personally already gone through one of these since last fall/winter because I love it so much. To see photographs and swatches,

Clinique Almost Lipstick has the most lovable texture and feel to it as a lip product. It’s lightweight, hydrating, glossy, and it actually feels like you are applying your favorite lip balm to your lips. The color that comes from this product is sheer, and “Black Honey,” is a Clinique bestseller for a reason: the shade is universally flattering, yet looks slightly different on each person. No matter what skin tone, eye color, or hair color you have, this shade is going to be very flattering on you. Yet, compare the way Black Honey looks on your best friend, and you may be surprised at how different it looks! The initial reason I purchased this was because it looked great on a good friend, and when I tried it on myself, it took on a slightly different shade, but looked incredibly beautiful and natural.
