Yesterday I sat down at my vanity which is in my office, and I gave myself complete freedom to just grab any products I wanted and create a look. I decided to do a copper brown and purple smokey eye with lots of eyeliner and a pale pink lip. This is a great look for both daytime and nighttime, especially if you work in a more casual or creative work environment during the day. I have to say that I felt pretty glamorous wearing this look because I don’t usually go very heavy on the makeup this time of year when the weather is hot.

The lips areĀ Addixt’n Cosmetics in “Lights, Camera, Lips!” I was so impressed by this product that I wear it all the time. It comes in a lip gloss applicator, but it applies like a liquid lipstick because it’s super rich and pigmented. It dries down a bit into a super long-lasting lipstick/lipgloss hybrid.
For the eyes, I used my Too Faced “Chocolate Bar” Palette. It smells delicious and the colors are very pigmented. I used “Cherry Cordial” (a burgundy brown) in the crease of my eyelids only, and blended it out with “Candied Violet,” which is a shimmering cool-toned purple. I applied “Amaretto” to the eyelid, which is a copper brown and goes wonderfully with “Cherry Cordial.” I applied “Amaretto” all along my lower lash-line and blended it out with “Candied Violet.” I added a pop of beige shimmer in the inner corners with “Marzipan.” I completed it by using my Urban Decay “Perversion” Eyeliner on the water-line and Inglot’s AMC Gel Liner in #77 on my upper lash-line, winging it into a cat eye. I finished it off with Dior’s “Iconic Overcurl” Mascara, which is a favorite of mine.
For my face, I used Revlon’s Photoready Foundation, which is a long-time love of mine. I used Tarte’s “Hotel Heiress” Bronzer to contour my cheekbones and my Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette to highlight my face.
And here is the finished look! As always, if you have any questions about the products used, feel free to comment below!
