When Milani Cosmetics told me they were releasing two limited edition Baked Bronzers, I was beyond psyched. Milani makes some of the best drugstore makeup out there. What made my heart skip a beat was that the press release stated they were both matte! It’s so rare to find truly matte bronzer nowadays, especially in an affordable drugstore option. I love matte bronzers because they look very natural, blend well, and can also be used as a contouring product. I’ve got full swatches inside of Sienna and Sunset,

I was very impressed the very second I laid eyes on these bronzers. They look perfectly matte to the naked eye and once you rub your finger into one of them, holy moly, you are met with pure velvet. I love the formula on these, they’re so soft and blendable, yet extremely pigmented.
07 – Sienna is the darker of the two shades. It also pulls slightly more of a reddish tone to it, so if you’ve got pink undertones, this will suit you. What I love the most, though, is how natural this looks. You don’t get any of those usual orange tones in it at all.
08 – Sunset is the lighter shade of the two and a pure bronze shade that will work perfectly with light to medium skin tones.
Both of these are incredibly pigmented, so you want to be careful how much you pick up on your brush. Both have a gorgeous flat, matte finish that is perfect for bronzing and contouring. The formula on these are an A+ for me, especially considering that they are so soft and blend so easily.
I used Sienna above to contour my cheekbones for a more refined look, and Sunset into the sockets of my eyes for shading and definition. The fun part about these bronzers is that they can also be used as an eyeshadow!
Sienna is used above to contour the cheekbones, above the arches of my eyebrows, and underneath my jawline. I used Sunset to add overall warmth to my complexion. I highly recommend scooping these up because they’re both limited edition releases!
Milani Cosmetics Baked Bronzers in “07 – Sienna” and “08 – Sunset” are limited edition this month at select Walgreens stores, as well as online at Milani’s website. Each bronzer retails for $8.99, making these a major beauty bargain steal!

I cannot find these bronzers anywhere in my area. Also, I looked on Milani’s website, and they are not there? I wish Milani made their cosmetics readily available. My local CVS and Walgreens only carry a few items and were out of stock on a lot of things. For being an American cosmetics company, you would think they would be easy to find.
Hi Bridget! If I had to guess, they sold out of the bronzers online. I definitely saw them online at one point for sale. Sometimes drugstores are a bit slower in getting things in. I have only seen them at a few select Walgreens stores in my city too. 🙁
