If you’ve been reading my blog now for awhile, you know that purple is by far my favorite color ever. I love wearing it on my eyes to bring out my eye color and I adore wearing rich, deep violet lips during the cooler months to bring out my inner vamp. I think my favorite part about the Palladio Silk FX All-in-One Herbal Eyeshadow Palette in “Femme Fatale” is that each shade is labeled when you close the top of the palette. There are so many times I get questions on how I choose which shades go where on my eyes, and this really takes the guesswork out of it. It’s great for the beginner and the master at makeup, and really the beginner becomes an expert quickly because you can play around with the shades and have fun!

To top it all off and add that pop of violet that really makes the look something special, I used Real Colors Hydra Eyes Gel Eyeliner Pencil in “Ultra Violet” on my lower water-line. This adds that extra sparkle to your eye color! I love using colored liner in place of black or brown, especially in the fall, when I adore using jewel-toned shades. Normally my looks are quite dramatic on here, but this palette and gel liner combination is for the “everyday woman.” You can wear this out on the weekend or for a date to give your makeup that pop of rich color. Violet looks great on all eye colors, as well, which is why I love using it on people. Curl your eyelashes and enjoy the rest of your day!

Palladio Velvet Matte Lip Color in “Damask” was love at first sight for me, because I am always rockin’ the dark, matte lip colors in the fall and winter. There’s nothing better than applying a long-lasting vampy lip color and leaving the rest of your makeup neutral. This deep, dark wine shade is very trendy right now and it’s a universally flattering shade for light to dark skin tones. The fact that this product is under $10 and feels so good on my lips has me gearing up for another trip back to the store to purchase more shades. It’s an ideal “look for less” product.
