I absolutely love BB cream for this time of year when the weather is sweltering hot and the humidity is high. I like to wear anything that is lightweight on my face and the Revlon Photoready BB Cream and the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation and Powder give me a flawless complexion without feeling thick or heavy on my skin. I’ve got my full review as well as before and after photographs inside,

REVLON PHOTOREADY BB CREAM: BB Cream is a lighter form of coverage for your face that helps even out imperfections and redness. I love using these when I am short on time or when the weather is very warm and I need something lightweight. This BB Cream is amazing because it actually gives incredible coverage. I’ve used a lot of BB Creams in the past year and this is one of the fuller coverage creams, yet the formula feels lightweight and dewy.
Another beautiful thing about this particular BB Cream is the inclusion of an SPF30. Revlon is genius for doing this, and I cannot thank them enough for including this. It helps me skip a step in my beauty routine since there is SPF already in the product. Since I live in the southeast, I really need SPF in my face products during the summertime. The sun is blazing and I spend a lot of time outdoors.
Above is a photograph of me with absolutely no makeup on. I’ve been spending so much time in the pool lately that even with continuous sunscreen applications, I have a little sunburn on my face. My skin is generally quite clear but I do feel that I need something to even out my skin tone and get rid of the redness.
I love this Revlon Photoready BB Cream. It applies wonderfully, is lightweight, and really gives great coverage. You will need a powder for this BB Cream if you have oily skin like I do, but I tend to powder my skin always during the hot, humid months anyway. It gives a luminous, healthy, dewy look that still looks natural. Notice how it covered up any red or blotchy areas on my skin entirely. It’s rare that a BB Cream has such fantastic coverage. I also like that this BB Cream photographs well. The entire Revlon Photoready line is fantastic for being on camera (whether video or photography). The product just tends to look really flawless and “airbrushed” when you are photographed.
REVLON NEARLY NAKED FOUNDATION AND POWDER: So when I’m not in a rush or I want to do my makeup a little more glamorous, I’ll go for a lightweight foundation. I am using “210 – Sun Beige” and it fits my skin tone well. I have to say that I was very impressed with how well this foundation blends into the skin and doesn’t just “sit on top” of my skin. It doesn’t feel heavy or cakey and it didn’t make my oily skin look shinier, which is a plus. The powder is actually in the shade “Medium/Deep” which is a bit too dark for my skin tone, but I always improvise with makeup products. Since it is about one or two shades darker than my skin tone and it is matte, I used it as a bronzer on my face to add depth and contour my cheekbones. It worked beautifully for this purpose and it’s a great tip for those of you out there who may have makeup that is too dark for your skin tone.
This foundation made my skin look luminous and very natural. I used the powder to contour my cheekbones and bronze my face a bit. The result is absolutely lovely:
I was impressed with the foundation and the powder combined. Honestly, I was a little shocked at my own photographs when I saw them for this post. This is probably the nicest my skin has looked in awhile, and it definitely gives you that absolutely flawless, airbrushed look.
