A bit of a quickie post today since I’m still getting all my ducks in a row from having my family from New Jersey visit for a week. The Dose of Colors Desi x Katy Collection is absolutely beautiful and I love supporting those two because they’re truly fantastic makeup artists and beauty vloggers! I have Hot Fire Liquid Lipstick for you today, which is a really bright orange-based red.

I absolutely adore the formula. It’s one of the most comfortable matte liquid lipstick formulas out there. It feels lightweight on the lips and it’s never sticky, flaky, or heavy feeling. It also lasts through pretty much anything, with the exception of oils in any food you eat throughout the day.

Hot Fire is a great summer color because it is bright and has that fiery orange undertone. I think it also makes a great fall and holiday color for this reason, too, and can be worn year round.

If you’re anything like me, you want to see how more daring lip shades look on people before purchasing them, and Hot Fire is a pretty bold shade. I’ve seen it worn on very fair skin tones and dark skin tones and it seems to really suit everyone while taking on different looks.
