Loose eyeshadow pigment can look absolutely stunning on the lids, and even better, you get a pot of loose product that typically requires very little product for high intensity color. I personally love loose pigments and use them often, as they provide a lot of freedom for eye makeup looks, and typically provide a gorgeous sheen of color on the lids. For the budget beauties out there, Jesse’s Girl Eye Dusts are a fantastic option when it comes to rich, pigmented loose eyeshadow. Coming in at $3.99 for a pot the size of a half dollar, you simply cannot beat the value. To see more photographs and swatches of the four above eye dusts,

Each of Jesse’s Girl Eye Dusts come in a large, screw-top pot, with a sifter inside to easily dispense the product. Simply dip your eyeshadow brush into the lid, or on top of the sifter to get some product, tap off the excess, and pat onto your eyelids for rich, glimmering color.

"Angelic"
Angelic is a shimmering light pink eye dust with subtle pink color. This shade makes a great highlighter color, and is perfect for the inner corners of your eyes. You can also sweep this shade over your entire eyelid for a natural, glowing effect.

"Sparkle Gold"
Sparkle Gold is a yellow-based shimmering gold. It can look a bit intimidating in the pot, because it looks quite yellow. However, the shade comes out looking gold once applied and blended.

"Majestic Green"
Majestic Green is a shimmering emerald green, that is perfect for green eyeshadow lovers. I love green eyeshadow a lot, and this applies beautifully pigmented.

"Trouble Maker"
Trouble Maker is a gorgeous shimmering blue that has green reflects in it. This shade is pure mermaid-esque beauty!

For being drugstore pigments, these eye dusts have a lot of color to offer. They applied smoothly, and last on your skin for several hours. The above swatches you see were applied dry, but if you were to wet your brush and apply this wet, you would have even more dramatic, intense color. Simply put: great color payoff for not a lot of money.
Jesse’s Girl Eye Dusts retail for $3.99 each for a 2.5 gram jar, and come in twenty-eight different shades. Jesse’s Girl Cosmetics can be found at Rite Aid, and other participating stores nationwide. You can use the store finder on the Jesse’s Girl website.

I love all these colors!! They remind me of the colors of a rainbow, or maybe the tail of a peacock! I just LOVE the pink!
