Sigma Makeup has beautifully expanded their brand beyond makeup brushes, offering gorgeous gift sets called “Hollywood Glamour Kits.” With three kits in the collection, they are exclusively named after and designed with classic Hollywood beauties in mind. “Breakfast With Audrey” is named after Audrey Hepburn, Hollywood’s classic, natural, dainty beauty. “Princess Grace” is named after Grace Kelly, the feminine, sweet actress and beloved Princess of Monaco. The kit I received is “Something About Marilyn,” aptly named after sex-siren Marilyn Monroe with its bright red, attention-getting, classy colors. To see more photographs of this dazzling, foxy set,
Each Sigma Makeup Hollywood Glamour Kit comes with a retractable kabuki brush, a heart shaped compact mirror, and a makeup bag (9 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 3 inches). The entire set is magnificently stunning, and is extremely visually pleasing to the eye. When I received this set, the first thing I thought as a photographer was, “I can’t wait to shoot this kit!” The playful bright red color, the rhinestones on the classic compact mirror, and the soft satin on the makeup bag is enough to make any woman swoon.
This makeup bag is pure luxury, and reflects Marilyn Monroe’s style perfectly. The soft, satin finish oozes class and wealth, and the red color is classic and pure bombshell. This makeup bag is the perfect size to tote around with you when you are traveling on a short trip. The metallic gold piping detail around the makeup bag, and the gold zippers make this bag feel elegant.
The “Something About Marilyn” compact mirror pulls out all the stops. The bright red rhinestones, again, tie in Marilyn Monroe’s famous red bombshell lips, and the heart shape is flirty and fun. The mirror has a classic, old-school pop-open closure. You place your fingers on the stainless steel button on the front, and the compact “pops” open. The compact feels very high-quality, with its shiny silver inside, and double-sided mirror inside. When I bring this compact out in public, it always gets noticed, and I have admirers wondering where I found a mirror so beautiful.
The retractable kabuki brush is encased in gorgeous metallic bright red packaging. The brush originally looks like a cream stick blush, but once you take the top off, you can slide the metal mechanism down, revealing a full, soft, fluffy kabuki brush. This is the perfect brush for traveling, since it doesn’t take up much room, and since it retracts, you will not have to worry about ruining your brush in any way. I carry this brush with me at all times in my purse, since you never know when you will need a powder touch-up, or simply need to blend. This brush is innovative, and has alluring style to it.
Overall, the Sigma Makeup Hollywood Glamour Kit in “Something About Marilyn” is stunning. It is my style exactly, and this is my personal favorite of the three Hollywood-beauty inspired kits. This set would make any woman feel extra special and feminine, making these kits the ideal gift for the beauty lovers in your life. In fact, with my mom’s birthday coming up, I believe she will be getting one of these from me. Quite frankly, the products are an equal balance of lavishing luxury, and usefulness.
Sigma Makeup Hollywood Glamour Kits are available in three sets, and can be purchased at Sigma Makeup Online.
