Though the temperatures outside are still sweltering for many of us, we are about to enter the transitional phase of summer into autumn. You know the drill: back-to-school supplies are everywhere, fall makeup collections are being released, and you see boots being sold in the shoe department. The Zoya Naturel Deux Collection has given us the perfect transition from those sweltering hot summer nights to those brisk, cooler fall evenings. This is the second part of the Naturel line from the Zoya, and it’s absolutely stunning. Whether you’re a big fan of neutral polish shades or you just need to tone it down for the office or a professional environment, these shades are so classic and sophisticated. They perfectly embody the spirit that is half-summer and half-autumn. I’ve got full swatches and my thoughts inside!

There are six polishes total to the Zoya Naturel Deux Collection. The first Naturel Collection from Zoya contained all rose toned neutrals. This collection has more of a variety of neutral tones, including some rose tones, violet tones, and brown tones. Let’s explore swatches, shall we?
Spencer is a neutral nude brown creme. It had good coverage and only needed 2 coats. This is basically my skin tone’s perfect “nude” shade, where my nails and skin sort of blend together. It’s really a gorgeous shade and will suit a huge variety of skin tones.
Emilia is a dark chocolate creme with great pigmentation. I only needed 2 coats with this one and probably could’ve gotten away with just one. This is a very cool-toned brown that almost looks like it has extremely dark olive tones in it.
Aubrey is a medium mauve creme with tones of rose and brown. I love shades like this because they give your nails color but with a certain subtlety that makes them look timeless. Opaque in just 2 coats, this shade was lovely to work with.
Chanelle is a medium almond-brown creme. It sits somewhere in between Spencer and Emilia in terms of darkness, and it reminds me of toffee because of the slight warmth it gives off. This shade is opaque in 2 coats.
Madeline is a muted rose creme. This is, again, a shade that will look good on everyone and it’s perfect for wearing to the office or in a professional setting. This is one of those timeless, classic shades that you can have in your collection and never get tired of. This one was opaque in 2 coats.
Marnie is a deep brown-plum creme. I think this one is my favorite out of the entire collection because it’s not quite brown yet it’s not quite full on plum. I LOVE this shade for year round and I think it’s just a gorgeous shade for those who like to darken it up a bit and play it vampy, but not go overboard. It’s rich in color and just plain sexy. This one was opaque in 2 coats.
Overall, I’m a big fan of this collection because of the versatility it brings. You can wear these in the summer and take them into the fall and winter months with you. They work as great transitional shades from summer into fall. They are all rich in color and opaque in just 2 coats. I found them to be smooth and easy to work with. The other major bonus about a collection like this is that they will work on every skin tone and be suitable for those who work in office or professional settings. If you’re looking for timeless shades that surpass “trendy,” you’ve found your collection!
