I raced to get swatches of the brand new Wet n Wild Midnight Mermaid Collection up for you guys. This collection dropped yesterday via the website and it crashed big-time due to traffic. The whole collection is basically shimmer and duo-chromes suspended in darker bases. That highlighter, however, is a must-have in my book and I predict that it will be the hottest item in the collection. Full swatches inside…

Midnight Moon is the highlighting bar and seriously, just run out and grab this now. It’s a golden pearl shade but it leans a very light, angelic-like blue. It’s only ever so slightly noticeable, but it’s gorgeous. It’s really pigmented and looks beautiful and it’s drugstore makeup!

The Metallic Liquid Eyeshadows are basically liquid shimmers suspended in a black base. 3 out of the 4 have a duo-chrome reflect to them, but where they really shine is over top of a black base. I used NYX’s “Black Bean” Jumbo Pencil as a base and bam. Look at how much brighter they shine.

The MegaLast Metallic Liquid Catsuit lipsticks are all super rich in color and dry down to a matte metallic finish. I’m not entirely sure how wearable the two middle shades are for showing up to the office, but they’re certainly fun to own. The outer two shades are really wearable and perfect for fall and winter.
