Yesterday I posted the gorgeous swatches of the Mally Beauty “Earth Angel” Eyeshadow Trio. I wanted to show you how lovely they look on the actual eye, and how soft yet rich they look. I personally adore this palette because it has the perfect mix of neutrals. Barbie-pink and brown go so well together, and the colors end up illuminating your entire eye area so you look well-rested and youthful. I’ve been learning all kinds of new tools and tricks in Photoshop lately and I’m realizing just how much I love graphic design. I’ve always been interested and proficient in it, but my curiosity and passion has really exploded lately, so I decided to put together a “step-by-step” picture tutorial to show how I achieved this gorgeous eye look. Peek forward!
For the sake of this tutorial, I labeled each of the three eyeshadow shades in the palette a different number. Here is your guide below:
Let’s get started!
At this point, what you do with the rest of this look is entirely up to you. If you wanted to make it more dramatic you could apply eyeliner to the upper and/or lower lash-line. I applied a nude eyeliner on the bottom because I wanted the shades to make my eyes look really large and illuminated. I did apply a very thin line of black eyeliner to my upper lash-line and winged it out for some extra oomph.
The Finished Look:
This is actually one of my favorite eye looks I have done in quite some time. It’s subtle and sophisticated and opens the eye up, but it also still has a hint of drama to it, making it subtly sexy. The eyeshadow in this palette is a dream to work with.
Did you enjoy this step-by-step picture tutorial? Let me know what you think about my new method of tutorials on here! If they are well received, I’ll definitely do more.
