Launching on August 1st, 2015, NARS Cosmetics is releasing Audacious Mascara in Black Moon and Kohliner in Minorque. Both are brand new fall releases, meant to achieve the perfect smoked out look with little effort. I’m all about a really great mascara that hugs every single eyelash, especially since my eyelashes are quite light and blonde on their own. I also love to play my eye color up by wearing a rich black eyeliner along my lashes. I am going to show you how to Smoke It Out using these products! This look will easily transition from summer to autumn. Get the details inside,

 

Both products are brand new for Fall 2015 and I can’t tell you how excited I am for autumn already. I am just over the record heat we have been having this summer and I think I’m ready for a change. Of course, I may be biased since autumn is my favorite season!

 

 

NARS Kohliner in Minorque is a jet black eyeliner housed in a twist-up pencil applicator. The tip of it is quite fine, which I think makes application easier. It’s especially great for getting into the corners of the eyes and applying along the upper lashes. It glides on really smoothly, with no skips or bumps, and it has great pigmentation. When looking for a great black eyeliner, those are my main concerns. This one is rich in pigmentation, opaque, and has a smooth application.

 

NARS Audacious Mascara in Black Moon is a brand new mascara that has a really unique wand. I actually love these types of mascara wands the most out of all the types. The bristles that stick out are different lengths and they grab each and every single lash. It’s super easy to start at the base of your lashes and roll upward. This makes my lashes look divine.

 

SMOKE IT OUT: This look could not get much easier. I applied a shimmering champagne beige over my entire eyelid. I used the NARS Kohliner to line my entire lower lash-line and upper lashes. You don’t have to be super precise when doing this because you’re going to go back with a brush and smudge, smudge, smudge. You want to have that slightly disheveled, smoky eye look all around. Once you’re finished smudging, curl your lashes and apply NARS Audacious Mascara. Boom. Done. It will take you less than 5 minutes!

 

Smoky eye makeup is gorgeous anytime of the year, but in the spirit of these being for Fall 2015, I applied MAC’s Whirl Lipstick to my lips to give it a little extra edge. It’s one of my favorite lipsticks ever. It just adds the essence of autumn to the entire look and pulls it together.

 

 

 

The overall look is very smoky, sultry, and definitely chanting the fall season on.
