I’ve found that some of the best beauty finds come when you least expect them. Take this Pacifica Enlighten Eye Brightening Shadow Palette. I’m browsing the Target beauty aisles, wandering down the natural, organic section, and I spot Pacifica items. I’m a huge fan of Pacifica perfumes, especially their “Mediterranean Fig” scent. All of their products are cruelty-free, environmentally friendly, and made without synthetic ingredients. The one ingredient that caught my eye in this eyeshadow palette is coconut water, which is used to make the eyeshadow extremely soft and creamy. I knew I had to bring this palette home with me because not only are the shades stunning, but I had no idea that Pacifica made makeup. You don’t want to miss this post…this palette is GORGEOUS!
The packaging in this palette is so beautiful. I love that above the mirror it says “You are so pretty.” It’s a great mantra for every single person to remember every day when looking in the mirror, even if you don’t feel it.
Skinny Dip is a champagne beige, and Coral Sand is a light shimmering coral pink shade.
Golden is a pure shimmering gold, and Urchin is a shimmering grape-purple shade.
These eyeshadows are BY FAR the softest I have ever felt in my entire life. The coconut water in this product does wonders for how it feels against your skin. I can’t even compare it to butter, it just feels like pure velvet or a fine talc powder. They are so silky and so creamy, and I couldn’t wait to use these on my eyelids. Not only are they creamy and insanely soft, but they are pigmented and rich in color with just one swipe. I’d say that this palette is essentially perfection in all aspects.
For this look, I used Coral Sand over my entire eyelid, and swiped Golden into the socket of my eye closest to my nose. Then, I applied Skinny Dip into the inner corners of my eyes. To add depth to the entire look, I applied Urchin to the socket of my eye closest to my temples, and blended it out into the outer third of my eye. I just wanted to create a slight smokey effect with this dark purple shade. To finish the look, I applied Coral Sand along my lower lash-line, and added black eyeliner to my lower water-line.
Overall: If you’re a natural makeup lover, or you love neutral eyeshadow shades, you will love, love, love this palette. The colors are shimmering, pigmented, and completely gorgeous. They are packed with incredible ingredients that make the product the softest I’ve ever felt in my life. On top of that, these shadows are actually good for your skin, containing ingredients like coconut water and safflower seed oil. This product is formulated without: Phthalates, parabens, carmine, beeswax, lanolin, mineral oils, propylene glycol, petroleum and FD&C colors. No animal testing. Gluten-free, 100% vegan and cruelty-free.
The Pacifica Enlighten Eye Brightening Shadow Palette is available at Target stores nationwide, as well as online at Pacifica’s website. Each palette retails for $14.00 USD, but I paid $12.99 USD for it at my local Target store. You can also use the Store Locator Tool to see where else Pacifica is sold in your area. I often see Pacifica products sold at health-food stores such as Whole Foods and locally-owned natural stores in my area. I highly recommend checking out this palette as well as their other beauty, perfume, and body products. They are an incredible cruelty-free, all natural, environmentally friendly brand that I can get behind!
