MAC Sheen Supreme Lipsticks rock my socks because they are so moisturizing and leave a slight glossy finish to your lips without being sticky or goopy. They also put down pretty opaque color on top of the chic finish, so I am basically obsessed with collecting these. One of my favorite fellow beauty bloggers, Missy Natty over at Missy Natty’s Beauty Diary reviewed this exact shade a few days ago, and I promptly purchased it. One thing I love about reading other beauty blogs is that it gives me a good excuse to have to purchase something…”Well, I found it on Missy Natty’s blog, so I have to have it!” Blossom Culture is a gorgeous yellow-based pink shade with some shimmer in it. It’s essentially a “your-lips-but-prettier” shade that will work with just about anything. To see swatches,
This is a universally flattering color, too, which means it will look great on someone with pale skin and someone with very dark skin. This shade seems to “take on” the complexion of the wearer, warming up their skin tone and flattering their face.
You can see in the swatch above that it has a slight pearl shimmer to it. I love this because it’s a really fine pearl shimmer that is almost not detectable, but it adds that little somethin’ somethin’ to the color.
Overall, I really love Blossom Culture. I think it’s a great shade to have in your collection no matter what your skin tone is. I’d pair this with anything from just mascara and some peachy-pink cheeks to extremely bronzed skin to a dark smokey eye at night. Sheen Supreme Lipsticks are great for people like me, too, who tend to have lips on the drier side. The formula feels moisturizing on my lips, and it helps cover any dry area’s on my lips.
