For over 4 months, I have seen the cardboard display announcing this palette. I waited for what seemed like forever and finally I went into a Walgreens tonight and spotted these palettes. I purchased both and they were buy one, get one 50% off, so it was a super beauty steal. The L’oreal La Palette Nude 1 contains ten eyeshadow shades, all in neutral colors. These neutral-shade palettes are popping up everywhere and I love that there is now officially a drugstore version of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. I’ve got full swatches and my review inside!
La Palette Nude 1 is composed of ten neutral eyeshadows in both matte, shimmer, and satin finishes. This palette contains lighter shades than their La Palette Nude 2, and in general, the shades tend to be more on the beige and brown side of the spectrum. I love the mix of mattes and shimmers in the palette. They did a great job of giving you a variety of finishes and shades.
SWATCHES:
THE FIRST 5 SHADES: The first 5 shades are quite light and are great for the eyelid, inner corners of the eyes, and the brow-bone. You’ve got a nice mix of matte and shimmer, and all of the shades were pigmented. The matte shades were actually very soft and blended well.
THE LAST 5 SHADES: The last 5 shades in the palette are strong metallic shimmers, with the exception of the first shade I swatched all the way to the left in the photo, which is a matte. These were so buttery soft and full of pigmentation. These were incredibly impressive for a drugstore brand if you ask me!

Overall, this is an impressive palette for neutral eye makeup lovers. It is a fantastic Urban Decay Naked Palette dupe. It’s easily accessible at drugstores and it would make a fantastic gift for the beauty lover in your life.
L’oreal La Palette Nude 1 is available at drugstores and mass retailers nationwide, as well as online here. Each palette retails for $19.99USD, making these a beauty bargain! I purchased mine at Walgreens where L’oreal was buy one, get one 50% off, and I stacked two $2 off coupons there as well (they were on a display), making my purchase a major steal.
