Can you hear angels singing? MAC Cosmetics “Stereo Rose” gets an exclamation point after it in this article description, because not only is it so limited edition that it sold out online and in most stores in less than one hour, but because it is flat out heavenly gorgeous. The MAC Mineralize Skinfinish has been on my list for awhile, and though my MAC order for it went through online the morning it was released, I received a back-order e-mail from MAC just two days later. I got very lucky with a very sweet beauty lover on Twitter who just happened to live near a MAC counter that had plenty in stock. A Paypal transaction later, I was in total bliss. You see, beauty fanatics revel in seeking out the most exclusive products they can find, and I am no exception. So put on your seat-belt and get ready for a ride of pure photograph spam with MAC Stereo Rose!
- MAC Cosmetics “Stereo Rose” Mineralize Skinfinish is part of the limited edition “In The Groove” Collection. Mineralize skinfinishes are among my favorite MAC products of all time, and I use them daily. “MSF’s” (as they are called) are velvety soft powders with high-frost metallic finishes. The formula perfectly smooths onto your skin for a flawless finish. It can add a highlight and a soft glow to your cheeks, or all over your face. “Stereo Rose” is described by MAC as a “coral with golden/bronze shimmering nuances,” which is a spot-on description of this shade. It is absolutely gorgeous, and since I have been stalking this product since it was released, I have seen it on a variety of skin tones. Like the famed NARS “Orgasm” blush, this shade looks unbelievably fabulous on every skin tone, making it universal.
So how far did my stalker potential go? I even begged my local MAC counter to let me buy the “Stereo Rose” tester that was still out, so I could sanitize it and bring it home. Desperate much?
Now that I’ve made you wade through a large amount of “Stereo Rose” photographs, I know you want to see swatches! I have a medium olive skin tone, though the inner forearm/wrist area tends to be paler than my overall skin tone.
MAC Cosmetics Mineralize Skinfinish in “Stereo Rose” retails for $28, and is limited edition with the rest of the “In The Groove” Collection. “Stereo Rose” is extremely rare to find anymore, and is being sold for prices of $60 and upward on eBay already. If you are interested, I suggest you check multiple MAC counters near and around you, as well as check via social media websites such as Twitter, for people who may have extra’s. I got lucky by finding a sweetheart of a gal on Twitter who was willing to pick me up this product because her MAC counter still had them in stock. Best of luck beauty stalkers!
