I personally think one of the most revolutionary ideas in the makeup industry is customizable palettes. It used to be that when you bought a makeup palette, whatever shades were included, you were stuck with, whether you liked them or not. ittse is a brand that allows you complete control over what shades you include in your palette. You can add in eyeshadow, blush, highlight, and brow shades to your liking and easily swap them out into a high quality magnetic makeup palette. There are also curated collections, which include groups of complementary shades. For review, I chose The Sunset Over Pacific Collection, because I love warm neutral shades and find them flattering against my skin tone and eye color. I have full swatches, as well as this makeup look and tutorial inside!
Here is how ittse works: you choose a magnetic makeup palette in the color of your choice and then you choose what shades and products you want to store inside. They have complexion products like blush and highlight shades, as well as eyeshadow and brow powders. They have over 100 shades and finishes to choose from, so the possibilities are endless.
I personally chose their Crisp White Palette, which I love because it stands out against my sea of black makeup palettes. The magnetic palettes themselves are sturdy and gorgeous. The outside is made of vegan leather, so it has a really nice feel to it. It looks luxurious and definitely is far sturdier than my other customizable magnetic makeup palettes.
Here is the Sunset Over Pacific Collection, which is an already curated group of products that all complement one another. What’s nice is that their already curated palettes have a great mix of shades and finishes that all work well together. This particular collection has a mix of warm sunset shades, blushing pinks, and twilight colors.
Each pan comes in plastic clamshell packaging, so if you want to swap out shades, you have somewhere to store the others. The Sunset Over Pacific Collection comes with 9 eyeshadow shades, 1 cheek color, and 1 illuminator. The palette is free with the purchase of this curated collection, which is a great beauty bargain! Included with my palette is also a brow powder shade in Toasted (which I doubled as an eyeshadow).
The palette itself fits 9 eyeshadow shades and 2 complexion shades. I was a bit bummed that my brow powder shade didn’t also fit, but that is where the original clamshell packaging comes in handy. I simply stored one of them back in the original packaging so I can swap it back in when I am ready.
Ready for some swatches? I am!

In terms of pigmentation, you can see above that I had no issues whatsoever. Every single shade was rich, smooth, and easily blendable. I was incredibly impressed because usually there is at least one “dud” in the mix, but this entire palette is perfection.
To Achieve This Eye Makeup Look:
- Apply Shade 1 into the crease of your eyes and blend it upward generously.
- Apply Shade 2 into the crease of your eye ONLY. Also blend this shade along your lower lashes. Go back with Shade 1 to blend the lower lash-line out.
- Apply Shade 3 over your entire eyelid and inner corners of your eyes. This gold shade so warm and rich, it will light up your eyes.
- Use Shade 4 on your brow-bone to blend out Shade 1 well.
I finished this look with some eyeliner along my upper lashes.
The effect is exactly as intended and very reminiscent of “the sunset over the pacific,” as the curated collection suggests.
