Today I have five of the Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Lip Glosses for you. As a huge fan of Burt’s Bees products, I was really excited to try these. I was curious as to whether or not they would be pigmented and how moisturizing they would be on my lips. It’s safe to say that I think these are a wonderfully nourishing lip product, especially if you’re into natural beauty products…

There are twelve shades total in the Burt’s Bees Lip Gloss line. I have five for you today, and there is a nice mix of shades from neutrals to pinks to reds. There are natural oils in these lip glosses to make them feel really hydrating on your lips. I’ve been using Burt’s Bees products for a long time on my lips, so I have to say that I kind of fell in love.
Nearly Dusk is a pretty lavender-pink shade with multi-colored shimmer in it. I love this shade because it leans more on the lavender side than pink, so it’s really flattering and yet a little different. Even though this has a good amount of shimmer to it, it doesn’t feel gritty at all.
Ocean Sunrise is a very light baby pink with shimmer in it. This is an especially gorgeous color for very pale to light skin tones because it’s a very pale pink shade. It’s also perfect for wearing with really dramatic eye makeup looks.
Autumn Haze is a neutral beige with gold shimmer in it. GOR-GEOUS! The name of this shade is perfect, too. It really delivers an overall nude-beige color to your lips but the added gold shimmer just makes it extraordinary. So flattering on every complexion too!
Evening Glow is an orangey-red coral shade with shimmer. This shade is another stunner. The light orange and gold shimmer in it just makes the base color pop and it reminds me of autumn so much.
Ruby Moon is a ruby red with shimmer in it. I feel like a broken record saying this, but this is another beautiful shade! If you’re intimidated by red lipstick, this is a great option for you because it has a bit of a sheer look to it and can be applied lighter or heavier depending on your preference. The shimmer in it makes it look like Dorothy’s ruby red slippers from The Wizard of Oz.
Overall, these lip glosses have really great pigmentation. They aren’t sticky or gritty and there is no synthetic or artificial scent to them. They are 100% natural and the nourishing oils in them keep your lips smooth and soft. Although I’ve only swatched five of the shades, there are twelve total in the Burt’s Bees line. I like that there is a variety of colors to suit various skin tones and makeup preferences.
Burt’s Bees 100% Natural Lip Gloss is available at drugstores and mass retailers nationwide. Each lip gloss retails for $9.00 USD.
